The Jamshoro police, in a raid in Matiari on Friday, nabbed four suspected facilitators in the Tania Khaskheli murder case.Β

The suspects have been identified as Nazir Solangi, Nadeem Sheikh, Baaqir Sheikh and Nadir Nohani.

The main accused and co-accused in the case have already been arrested by the police.Β

Moreover, the head of theΒ joint investigation team formed to probe the case, Aftab Pathan, has summoned, amid tight security, Tania?s family members to Karachi to take their help in the case.Β

On September 7, Khan Nohani, a local landlord of Jhangara Bajara town of Sehwan, along with his associates, allegedly shot dead Tania, a class-10 student, in her house after her family refused to marry off their daughter to Khan.

On Monday, police claimed to have arrested Khan, the main accused.

Sources said Khan was arrested in a police encounter in Dureji area of Balochistan over the weekend. He was reportedly hiding in the house of a relative of the local member national assembly. Nohani's accomplice, Maula Baksh Noohani was also arrested in an encounter earlier.

The Sindh High Court (SHC) had taken notice of the incident.Β

Hearing the case inside his chamber on Tuesday, SHC Chief Justice Ahmed Ali Sheikh was informed by the Hyderabad DIG and Jamshoro SSP that the seven-day remand of the suspects has been obtained.

The police officers presented a report on the progress of the case. The hearing was then adjourned until September 29.
