New commanders for Lahore corps, southern command announced by Army

RAWALPINDI: Army command on Thursday appointed Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa as the new commander of Southern Command, said a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The current commander of Southern Command, Lieutenant General Aamer Riaz, was appointed Commander Lahore Corps.
Lieutenant General Sadiq Ali was appointed Inspector General Arms at the General Head Quarters.
