KARACHI: One street criminal was killed while a rickshaw driver sustained injuries in Karachi?s Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Thursday during an armed hold-up.

According to SP Gulshan, a Pakistan Ranger in civilian clothes witnessed two men on a motorbike holding up the driver of a vehicle on gunpoint. Reacting to the situation the Ranger opened killing one of the armed gunmen on the spot while his accomplice managed to flee.

The escaping accomplice opened indiscriminate fire which injured a rickshaw driver, the SP added.
