QUETTA: Rescue authorities have recovered the body of a miner after an accident at a coal mine in Balochistan's Harnai District on Friday. 

One miner has also been rescued alive while five of his colleagues remain trapped inside. 

Chief Inspector Mines Iftikhar Ahmed said a landslide occurred at two spots on the Sharig Coal Mine in Harnai. 

He added that a rescue operation is under way to recover the five miners still trapped inside the mine. 

Last month, according to media reports, three coal miners were killed after poisonous gas accumulated inside a coal mine in Harnai.
