Reports are rife that Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh will fill in Akshay Kumar's shoes in the sequel to hit comedy Singh Is Kinng. 

The sequel has been titled as Sher Singh as revealed by producer Shailendra Singh, according to Indian media. 

Reports also suggest that the movie couldn't retain the original name due to issues with producer Vipul A Shah. 

The hit comedy, starring Akshay and Katrina Kaif, become an instant favourite among the fans due to its slapstick comedy and croon-worthy songs.  

However, the producers have yet to decide who will star opposite Ranvir in the movie. 

Ranvir will be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati. The movie's trailer broke all records and had fans drooling over Ranvir's intense look.
