KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan expelled MNA Salman Mujahid Baloch from the party fold, it emerged late on Friday.
According to the MQM spokesman, an important session of the party was held in Bahadurabad. The spokesman said that the party membership was cancelled because of violation of party ethics.
The party said that it has demanded Baloch to resign from the party. The MQM-P spokesman said that no party members should contact Salman Mujahid after his expulsion from the party.
Salman alleged that he was being punished for raising voice against the expulsion of another party member, Erum Naseem.
?They cannot expel me, the party isn?t the property of anyone and it belongs to every common man,? said Baloch, while speaking in the Geo News programme 'Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath'.
