ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan on Saturday said that Sindh, in comparison to all other provinces, is in a dire need of reforms.

"People of Sindh have been looted the most and that is the reason that the province needs a fresh start," Imran said.

He added that farmers don't have access to water as feudal lords continue to rule the province.

"I will soon hold a political rally in Sindh," he said, adding that a proper plan to overhaul the province's infrastructure and laws needs to be introduced.

The PTI chief's statement comes at a time when political parties are geared up to gain support for the upcoming elections in 2018.

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ? Sindh's ruling party ? has a strong voter base in the province. The tug of war between PTI and the PPP to secure the most votes from the province continues with PPP leaders lashing out at Imran and vice versa.

Addressing a rally in Hyderabad on Wednesday, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had criticised Imran for using corruption as a 'mere slogan.'

"There are some politicians who have not yet come out of the cricket ground."
