The wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, is back home from the hospital and recovering, tweeted her daughter Maryam Nawaz on Monday.

While responding to a tweet enquiring after her mother?s health, Maryam asked the well-wisher to keep praying for Kulsoom Nawaz?s quick recovery.

A few days back, the former first lady was hospitalised once again after her condition worsened. She is undergoing treatment for lymphoma, a cancer of lymph nodes, which she was diagnosed with.

The first chemotherapy session was performed around two weeks ago, while the next is due in the first week of November.

Nawaz is presently in London to spend time with his wife. He had left for Jeddah from where he was to come to Pakistan. But, in a series of change of plans, he flew back to London from Jeddah.

However, while speaking to the media in London on Monday, Nawaz said he will be flying back to Pakistan on November 2 to appear before the accountability court.
