Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan denounced the protocol under which former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was taken to the Prime Minister House from Islamabad airport.

While posting his criticism on Twitter, Imran questioned Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on allowing such a protocol. He added the incumbent prime minister was showing his involvement in helping Nawaz ?save his ill-gotten money?.

Imran also tweeted that it was shameful how a discredited prime minister, who was being under trial on financial charges, was given official protocol in Islamabad at a taxpayer?s expense.

The PTI chief has also earlier criticised Nawaz and his family members, saying they have evaded taxes in Pakistan and laundered their money abroad.
