Here's Everything Rajkummar Rao Did To Look Exactly Like Nejaji In 'Bose: Dead/Alive'
Rajkummar Rao is one of those few actors who can go to any length for an on screen role. Just to ace the look and the mannerisms of the character, he doesn't mind travelling those extra miles and that's what makes him an exceptional actor.

Be it him as Newton Kumar in 'Newton' or Shahid Azmi in 'Shahid', he can knock you out with his great acting skills. And once again, he has done everything in his power to get that uncanny resemblance to Subhas Chandra Bose. Right from gaining those extra kilos to reading every literature available on Netaji, the man did everything that was required to get that perfect look.

It wouldn't be wrong to say that stepping into Netaji's shoes and bringing that character to life on-screen for Rajkummar has been a tempestuous journey.

Well, for Rao, being Netaji required him to get trained both physically and mentally in order to get that authenticity. To understand the pulse of the character he was going to play, Rao did an interesting thing. He filled his make-up room's mirror with various pictures of Bose. Before every shot, he used to observe those pictures. In fact, whenever he was on breaks, he made it a point to take a look at these photos. This process somewhere helped him to get an insight about Bose's posture, mannerism, style, which eventually helped him play this important character with such ease.

There are very few actors in tinsel town who would go to such an extent just to play such characters, but Rao certainly does everything he should to do justice to his character. The series will set to start this month and will trace the journey of the Netaji who started a revolution in India. Get ready to witness this thriller show that might give us an insight into some unknown facts about him.
