Kohli is currently the most marketable athlete in India and the face of cricket all around the world.

According to Forbes, Kohli's brand value exceeds Barcelona star Lionel Messi, Pro golfer Rory McIlroy and NBA's Stephen Curry. Kohli who has over 16 million Instagram followers, earns a staggering $500,000 per promotional post on Instagram, that is the same amount as Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the most followed athlete on Instagram with over 114 million followers.
