Varun Dhawan's Outfit Is Every Short Indian Man's Dream Outfit
Let's pat Varun Dhawan's back: never in his Audi-driven privileged life of an actor has he let us down on the style front. Plus, much like our three-blocks-away brospeph in relatable brands, easy-to-cop pieces and anything/everything you'd want to get behind—he's turning into our big sartorial homie. But that doesn't mean we've never had our guards on him; one wrong move and we'd still be quick to notice. But well, however unrealistic this may sound to you, Mr. Dhawan hasn't succumbed to a menswear blunder yet. In fact, his recent appearance on the airport catwalk happens to be a splendid example of an outfit every short man needs to own. Know how? Let's break this down for you.

However short in length your body could be, a well-fitted jacket will always do you good. For one, it'll help build up your shoulders (eventually adding height) and in fact, with a beefed-up motorcycle jacket like Varun, you might end up doing more than just that. And as a ground rule, always opt for a slimming fit—to make your chest look bigger and waist slimmer.
2. Shirts can't go past the hip bone.See, if you're short, you better be tucking your shirts in on most days of the week. Unless of course, you want to appear shorter. But if not that, at least end your shirts right at the hip bone—to give yourself a slimmer silhouette and the illusion of longer legs.

Obsess over them! Playing with apparel lengths with every outfit you wear will distract viewers away from all your body length issues. Because really, with a great mix of lengths in the top-half of your outfit, there will be no time left for height scrutiny. In Varun's case, his shirt's the longest, the jacket a little shorter and the T-shirt's clearly the dwarf here.
4. Ignore short sleeves like exes.Short sleeves on short men make their arms appear shorter. So basically, stay away from them.

While it's anyway a necessity for men of various heights, short men really need a damn tailor in life. Because the baseline remains: the right fit will accentuate your best body parts and hide the flaws. But if nothing, at least get a really slim-fitted pair of bottoms for yourself. Trials rooms could be annoying but deal with it, man.
