MQM-P's Ali Raza Abidi sends resignation to NA speaker
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) MNA Ali Raza Abidi sent on Monday his resignation to the National Assembly speaker.
Citing 'political and personal reasons' in the resignation letter, Abidi said in a tweet that he hasΒ scheduled an appointment with the speaker on November 15 when he would verify his resignation in person.
The resignation comes days after Abidi, in a tweet from Iraq, announced quitting the MQM-P after it entered into an electoral alliance with the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).
