Yesterday, Donald Trump was sworn in officially as the 45th President of the United States of America. 

In his speech, this is what he said:

"Today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring the power from Washington D.C. and giving it back to you, the people."

A few years ago, Christopher Nolan’s final installment of The Batman trilogy released with Bane as the antagonist. In the movie, when Bane and his army took over the city of Gotham, this is what he said: 

“We take Gotham from the corrupt! The rich! The oppressors of generations who have kept you down with myths of opportunity and we give it back to you, the people.”

Do you see what I’m getting at here? Do you see the similarity in speech? Do I need to spell it out? 

Fine. 

Donald Trump channeled Bane in his speech. Not Batman, not the Mayor, not Officer Jim Gordon, no. He channeled Bane and we don’t really know how much coincidence is. Or worse, what kind of evil coincidence this is.   

Will the Dark Knight please reveal himself right now? Cause the world needs him. Someone call Officer Jim Gordon and tell him to turn on the Bat signal!
