Meghan Markle's TV Fiancé Patrick J. Adams Had The Most Hilarious Reaction To Her Engagement

Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement, Twitter has been flooded with congratulatory messages, and while everyone was happy for the couple, there was one person who seemed to feel a little blindsided by the engagement – Patrick J. Adams.

Adams and Markle have co-starred on the much-loved legal drama 'Suits' for about six years now, in fact their characters, Mike Ross and Rachel Zane, are even engaged on the show. So, it's not surprising her TV fiancé felt a little left out.

Shortly after Kensington Palace announced the news, he tweeted his reaction, showing absolute his disbelief.

She said she was just going out to get some milk... https://t.co/y7cnM0eC9D

Well, seems like Rachel Zane has some explaining to do. Alright, all jokes aside, Adams obviously isn't as surprised or upset as the tweet makes him out to be. A few hours later, he followed this hilarious reaction by posting a heartfelt message for his 'fiancé', who is about to marry a real prince.

Playing Meghan's television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious. Meghan, so happy for you, friend. Much love.

Along with the tweet, he shared the same note on Instagram as well, with a picture of Meghan Markle on the set of 'Suits.'

The first tweet did garner a lot of hilarious reactions from the fans of the show, with a lot of them replying with their own witty comments.

Sorry, Prince Harry.

Went out for milk and came back with a Christmas Gingerbread latte

But, someone had the best suggestion for him, now that Rachel is leaving.

You can finally marry Harvey now though..

Adams really wants the milk, and he's still keeping the joke alive. A few hours ago, he tweeted asking about milk again when Markle's exit from the show was confirmed.

So....no milk? https://t.co/rNBtUxlZow

The rest of Markle's TV family also tweeted congratulating the happy couple, but honestly Adams won this round and no one can beat his reaction.

Here's Harvey Spector wishing them the best.

Congrats to @meghanmarkle and Prince Harry. Sending all my best for your upcoming nuptials and a long happy life together. #love

Markle's TV dad, Wendell Pierce, also gave his blessings, 'approving' Prince Harry.

Congratulations to my TV daughter Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on the news of their wedding engagement. Harry you have her TV Father's blessing. Robert Zane approves @Suits_USA

Markle's TV BFF had a short and sweet message.

Sending congratulations and wishes for every blessing across the pond today. ♥ï¸

Well, cheers to the happy couple, and also sorry, Mike. Hopefully, you'll get that milk someday.
