HYDERABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party leader Maula Bux Chandio on Thursday advised the PML-N to not create hatred towards national institutions.

Chandio, speaking at a public even in Sindh's second largest city, also said that he was not in favour of calling the Army during the Faizabad sit-in, but accepted the Army needs to be called and plays a positive role during times of national crisis.

He asked where was the government during the botched operation to clear the vital junction in the federal capital, as all government ministers had different statements and did not seem to be on the same page.

Referring to PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif, Chandio said he has been defeated.

He added that the PML-N needs the PPP to survive and when the PML-N needs help, they always turn towards the PPP.

Chandio also claimed that 'someone' had advised him to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and added that there was no comparison between Imran Khan and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

The PPP leader, referring to his party's golden jubilee, said the party has completed 50 years and "God willing will complete 100 years too".
