LAHORE: Former president Asif Ali Zardari arrived at the Minhajul Quran Secretariat in Lahore on Thursday evening to hold a meeting with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri.

This is the first time that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman has visited the Minhajul Quran Secretariat.

A meeting is underway at between the former president and PAT chief, wherein Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Manzoor Watto and Qamar Zaman Kaira are also in presence.

Earlier in the day, Zardari contacted Qadri and extended his support to him for bringing those responsible of Model Town tragedy to justice.
