The meeting was held at the residence of Nawaz's son, Hasan Nawaz, wherein the present situation of the country came under discussion, sources said.
Sources added that Nawaz's daughter, Maryam Safdar, and other members of the family were also present at the meeting.
Dar, who is presently in London on account of his medical treatment, was declared a proclaimed offender by an accountability court for his continued absence from the proceedings of a corruption reference against him.
The court also ordered Dar's bail guarantor, Ahmad Qudoosi, to produce the suspect within three days, warning seizure of his Rs5m surety bond if he failed to do so.
The minister is accused of owning assets that are disproportionate to his declared sources of income.
