Back in the day when the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) was still World Wrestling Federation (WWF), the popular sporting event had kids glued to the television sets to catch their favourite wrestlers in action. While some flaunted their trump card collections, others couldn't resist pulling off the popular manoeuvres of wrestlers on their friends and even on a few family members.

Amongst many iconic wrestling stars including Shawn Michaels, Triple H and The Undertaker, one man reigned supreme - Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Such was his aura in and out of the ring that it helped the star develop a fanbase in every corner of the globe. And, as it turns out, India is no different.

While a lot has changed over the years and he may no longer feature in the WWE, there has been no shortage to Johnson's fan following - thanks to his success in Hollywood. The 45-year-old was recently in India to promote his upcoming flick 'Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle' which is slated for release on 29 December.

In a video, aimed at rekindling his love with the Indian fans, Johnson surprised everyone by talking about the country's "natural obsession" - cricket. While many would have doubted his understanding of the sport, Johnson shocked everyone by successfully identifying MS Dhoni's signature shot - The Helicopter hit.

Not only did he know Dhoni's iconic shot, Johnson went on to correctly identify Tillakeratne Dilshan's ramp shot and the slow bouncer. In the Q&A round that was labelled as 'What's it called with Dwayne Johnson?', the American got all the answers right. But, not before stuttering in the first set of questions.

Early in the video, Johnson was seen trying hard to guess the signals of cricket umpires on the field. When he was shown an umpire signalling 'out' for the batsman, the actor answered, “You are number one”. After being told the right answer, he asked his fans to bear with him.

When shown a 'third umpire' signal, he said, it means, “It is impossible to fit your handsomeness and sexiness into one box.” For the 'no-ball', he replied, “Hey Rock, your millions and millions of your India fans are that way (while giving the signal).”

When shown the signal for a 'six', according to Johnson, it meant, “Who loves The Rock? We do!” which he likened to the home run in baseball terminology, which is the national game of the US.
