QUETTA: At least two FC personnel were martyred as a result of a gun and bomb attack on a check post in the Baleli area of the provincial capital on Tuesday evening, said security sources. 

Retaliatory fire after the attack killed two terrorists. Five people, including two FC personnel, were injured in the attack. 

Police officials said firing was heard in the area following the explosion and security forces reached the site of the incident

Security forces also established a cordon around the area and rescue services started shifting the injured to medical facilities. 

The injured were shifted to CMH Quetta for medical treatment.
