LAHORE: Fire erupted at a departmental store here early Tuesday morning on M.M. Alam Road in the city's Gulberg locale, rescue authorities said.
The blaze quickly spread through and enveloped the entire five-storey building, rescue officials explained, adding that teams are, at present, engaged in attempting to douse the flames.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known, while no reports of casualty have surfaced either.
