Another 'Padmavat' controversy, another set of memes. You must have read it somewhere over the last couple of days about our Central board of Film Certification (CBFC) ordering 300 cuts in 'Padmavat'. Honestly, most of us believed it to be true given the amount of negative attention that the movie has unfortunately garnered. 

In our country, one cannot afford to hurt the sentiments of any religious or political group, so we were willing to take these 300 cuts as a bitter pill.

We had tears in our eyes too, Deepika. 

But thankfully, CBFC has now denied all those rumors. Chairman Prasoon Joshi came out and said, "The makers have submitted the final film with agreed five modifications. These modifications have tried to incorporate observations and suggestions given by the advisory panel and also in keeping with the sentiments of society. This has already been communicated by CBFC and a UA certificate has been given to the film.”

While this is excellent news because five modifications are nothing in front of 300 cuts, you know how Twitter users are. Don't you?
