  1. You don't have to be a collector to recognize the unmistakable click of a Zippo lighter. The unique sound is not just soothing to many but is also a click that nearly 4 out of 5 adults will instantly recognize anywhere across the world. These aren't just tall claims but are facts that are supported on relevant grounds. Established way back in 1932, the Zippo windproof lighter easily found its way into the popular culture references and won many hearts with its unique design and unwavering durability. Yup, the biggest keyword that defines this as a collector's prized possession is the fact that despite the improvements to the flint wheel and evolving designs over the years, Zippo remains true to its famous lifetime guarantee – "It works, or we fix it free.™" Coming back to the click of the century, the Zippo click sound has recently been trademark joining the ranks of other unique sounds that you'll instantly connect with. Filling and Lighting the Zippo The Zippo windproof lighter is filled by removing the inside unit from the lighter case (9). Turn the inside unit over and lift the felt pad (8) to reveal the packing material in the fuel chamber (3). Hint: Use an unfolded paper clip or similar tool if the pad is hard to lift. With the felt pad out of the way, the fuel chamber is ready to be filled with lighter fuel, slowly saturating the wick (6) and the packing material (7) inside the fuel container. The wick continues to draw lighter fuel from the packing material (7) in the fuel tank, and sends a continuous flow of fuel up the wick to keep the flame lit. This unwavering fuel flow, along with the perforated chimney design, helps the flame stay alight even in wind – an integral feature of the Zippo lighter's design since it first debuted in 1932. Finally, when the lighter lid is closed, the flame is immediately extinguished as it becomes deprived of the oxygen it needs to burn. While above seems like a very good start, it's probably going to go down the drain after few months of mental exhaustion or worst completely returning back to before. Start slowly, aim to increase your activity level more than previous and start replacing unhealthy food options for healthy one by one. Keep a track whether you are able to maintain the change and adapt to the small change you just made. If yes, increase it one level further and so on according to your schedule. 2) Track Your Exercise And Food © Unsplash When you begin tracking what you eat and how much do you exercise daily you will become more conscious of your actions for your fitness goals. Results should be measurable and so should your daily process to improvise and find the areas which are stopping you from achieving your fitness goals in 2019. Example- I eat healthily, I consume good food Optimal way: I eat 2500 calories and I exercise daily for 45 minutes and repeat this 4 times a week (more details, the better) 3) Seek Knowledge And Help If you are determined but you don't have a direction for achieving your fitness goals in 2019 you are going to go haywire and won't achieve your desired outcome. Best and fastest way to learn something is to pay someone and seek knowledge. Other methods include reading articles over here and follow up on researches. If you want to avoid all the above hassle and save your time, the first option is what you should go ahead with. 4) Environment Over Motivation © Unsplash Lot of times we indulge ourselves in watching motivational videos and motivational music, though science has clearly demonstrated the impact of music on training, the goal shouldn't be motivation but it should be self-motivation. The fire should come from within and for the fire to stay alive it requires you to surround yourself with people who support you and are also determined to achieve their fitness goals in 2019. You can't outgrow your environment. Your motivation to kickstart your fitness goal in 2019 will plummet down but if you have supportive people around and people who also want to become a better version of themselves, you will have a higher probability of doing the same and sustaining your fitness for a longer period. As a good measure always make friends with people who you see regularly in the gym and learn from them. 5) Mental Fitness Don't get caught up in the best method or the best diet plan just because you read it somewhere online. Always do what's the best for you. Do what allows you to follow your plan consistently and the one that keeps your mind happy.   3. There are no hard-gainers. There are only the under-eaters. If you want to see yourself grow, the most important thing to do is to EAT! Learn how to eat solid food and learn how to eat it very often. Only going to the gym and doing bro-splits wouldn't help. Get you training structured and follow these eating tips. 1. Not Eating High Calorie Foods Most people make this mistake of eating the same foods which they were eating in cutting (losing fat) and maintenance (staying at same weight) phase. This is not actually a problem per se, as you can always increase the quantity of same foods in bulking. However, your stomach has only limited capacity to fill itself with food and you are better off filling it with foods that provide higher nutritional value or calories. For example- Replacing 100gm of chicken breast (commonly eaten during cutting) with 100gm of whole chicken/thighs will give you more calories as it has good fats along with almost same amount of protein. Eating Just About Anything If not eating high calorie/eating enough is a problem, then we have other category of people who will simply stuff their face with anything they see in the name of bulking. Remember guys, a calculated approach with eating good foods is required in bulking. This HARDLY should include fries, burgers or regular trips to Mc Donald's. For so many people, bulking becomes an excuse to let loose on all the foods which they already know are bad for them. 3. Worrying About Abs TOO MUCH I assume most of you reading this article are naturals (not using steroids). As a natural, you need to understand that you will lose some of your 'aesthetics'. Come to terms with the fact that you midsection will get soft for the time you feed to grow. Little bit of fat gain on belly area during bulking is almost inevitable if you are doing it naturally. So don't stop eating is a steady surplus if you lose definition around the abs. © Youtube 4. Guys, these things hardly ever matter. Listen. It won't make any difference if your protein powder has 0gm or 4gm carbs, unless you are competing and please leave the muscle anatomy of upper chest or lower abs for advanced bodybuilders. You have limited energy and time, invest it where it matters the most- heavy compound lifts and eating right.   4. 'Six-pack abs' are the so-called epitome of fitness. If you got them, you have made it. Well, that is the notion anyway these days that abs define fitness and people are ready to literally trade an arm and a leg put together just to get abs. Unfortunately, they will buy the most expensive fat burners and fat cutters to get there quick. They will do hundreds of ab crunches and dedicate entire training sessions just to train the abs. If your goal, too, is to get abs, then ensure that you do not end up making these same mistakes as others. Here is a list of what NOT to do: 1. Don't Just Do Bodyweight Work Your abs are like every other muscle and show a growth response to progressive overload. Doing bodyweight work is totally alright, but the catch here is it does not exclusively work after a point. That is because you become all the more efficient and fatigue resistant to it. Start including some weighted exercises using cables and machines and do them for sets of 8-12 reps. You can always include bodyweight work towards the end of it. © Pixabay 2. Do Not Keep Your Back Flat Though having a flat back while doing exercises like rows, deadlifts, squats and the like is a good habit, it can be counterproductive when training abs. When you contract the lower back to keep it straight, you cannot contract abs as well as they are a pair of antagonist muscles. By keeping a flat back, you prevent the abs from shortening. For your abs, you have to unlearn the otherwise healthy habit and curl your spine in a controlled manner during the shortening of the abs or doing the crunch and uncurling it when getting back to a neutral position. 3. Do Not Try To Finish Your Reps Quickly Quality over quantity! That is the rule for doing any exercise and performing reps. Do not target doing 100 or 200 or 300 reps in as little time as possible. Do not fly through that set of leg raises. For doing the reps as fast as possible, you need momentum, which often means that you are just moving and not training abs. Instead, do slow and controlled reps and make the reps count. 4. Do Not Activate Your Hip Flexors While Doing Leg Raises Hip flexors are the upper thigh muscles that attach to your pelvis whereas your abs just end above the pelvis. While doing leg raises, many people just end up training the hip flexors and not abs. How does this happen? When you start doing a leg raise, you will see that until a point your lower back remains straight. After a particular point (usually 60-degree flexion), your lower back starts curling. That is when your abs shorten and get involved. Many people do leg raises and only raise their legs to the point of hip flexion without even activating the abdominal muscles. Do not be that person. © Pixabay 5. Do Not Eat Away Your Progress You may have heard the saying that 'abs are made in the kitchen' and it is partly true. The reason I say partly true is that you also need to develop your abdominal muscles to have them in the first place. Along with developing the abdominals, you need to be at a lower body fat percentage to be able to see them. Usually around 10-12% body fat. So, you can do all the ab work in the gym and there is still a probability that you will not see them due to the body fat you are carrying. If you want those abs, eat accordingly. Apple has increased the price of the MacBook Air to $1,199 ($999 previously) and the same can be said about accessories like the 'Apple Pencil 2' and the Smart Keyboard. © Akshay Bhalla_MensXP The record revenue from higher priced products proves that Apple's customers don't care about the price hike and are still shopping Apple's offerings. According to Apple chief financial officer Luca Maestri, the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus had a combined 98 percent satisfaction rate among customers. This resulted in the iPhone raking in 59 percent of Apple's total revenue last quarter. Apple saw revenue increase not only in the products segment but also services. Services such as Apple Care, Apple Music, cloud services and the App Store also raked in $10 million in revenue last quarter. "Services are important not only because they are growing faster than some of Apple's traditional device categories, but also because services revenues grow based on usage, not new product sales," said Avi Greengart, research director at GlobalData. "As smartphones mature and consumers hold onto them longer, Apple can still improve the user experience — and make money — by making what you already have more useful.” According to a report by our sister website Economic Times, Apple's net profit in India jumped to Rs 896.3 crore for the fiscal ended March 2018. “The company saw its total income (including other income) rising about 12 per cent to Rs 13,097.6 crore in FY2018 from Rs 11,704.3 crore” the report said.

  14. It's been 21 years since the classic Winamp media player was released for Windows, and it seems like the audio app will be making a return next year. It will be re-launching in the form of a mobile app that will be able to run all your music, podcasts and radio shows all in one place, according to TechCrunch. Radionomy's CEO Alexandre Saboundjian, the company that bought the application from AOL said: "There will be a completely new version next year, with the legacy of Winamp but a more complete listening experience. You can listen to the MP3s you may have at home, but also to the cloud, to podcasts, to streaming radio stations, to a playlist you perhaps have built.” © YouTube This new version of Winamp will be coming to both iOS and Android platforms while Winamp is already present in the Google Play Store. Having said that, the new version is expected to give a completely different experience and will also be updated on the desktop. Winamp faced tough competition from mobile apps that led to its decline, as most of its user base was on desktop computers.
