It's hard to understand what Akshay Kumar's been on these days. He's been shaving his scalp, wearing turle necks (left, right and center), promoting 'Padman' like a damn hurricane and in general, dressing like he's turning younger. Fortunately, he's stuck in such a rut of impeccable menswear, that our hands are now tired of patting him on the back. And considering he's a busy dad, not the best-dressed and picks fitness over fashion—we're quite surprised with his recent developments.

For his recent outing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the actor made headlines for another style stunt—white jeans at dusk. Something, that's an obvious move of the style-elite but of course, a stunt that's working for Kumar exceedingly well. While the textbooks go against 'white for the night', Akshay's clearly a convention-rebel in disguise.

Kumar's idea is simple: do whatever the hell he wants, and wrap himself in I'll-wear-what-I-want clothes. In no way, is he interested in hearing your judgement out. While a few days back, Hrithik Roshan too, chose a pair of white bottoms for an appearance in the evening, he clearly walked himself into the well. He paired it with a white shirt (oops), and experienced quite a whooping on our website. Akshay Kumar, on the other hand, has done quite a few things right here.

For one, thanks to his watchful eye for great menswear pieces, Kumar chose a henley T-shirt for this commendable outing. Something, that's such a classic piece of fashion, that we're hoping for a repeat of the piece on the actor very soon. Having said that, let's not forget: the colour choice is a brave move too. Or if we may, a big slap for humans who say 'Pink isn't for men'.

Let's pin-point, that his jeans aren't very ill-fitted either. They may be gathering at a few odd corners, but over-all, there's not much to take him down on here. It's neither supremely well-fitted, nor very relaxed. We're not complaining!

Moral of the story? White can look good at night. But if you're wearing them tonight and expecting your maid to come tomorrow, you rather gear up for a machine-wash-day. She's probably seen these pictures and decided to take an off tomorrow!
