The 'Padmaavat' Craze Is So Widespread That Families In U.S Booked An Entire Theatre To Watch It
A lot has been said and done about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat' but finally, after what felt like years, the movie managed to get a release. And within a week, it has crossed the hundred-crore mark and has broken several records not just in India but overseas as well.

While most of us couldn't even get through the advance booking of tickets for the movie with a couple of our friends, families in America went a step ahead. By booking an entire show of course.
The theatre saw Indian families of San Francisco Bay Area dressed in Padmavati-like attire and dancing to 'Ghoomar' before the show began. Film trade Analyst Komal Nahta took to Twitter to post about this magnificent moment.
Have a look at the video:
San Francisco Bay Area families bought a whole show of the movie theater (in Sunnyvale, California) to see Padmaavat and there was a dress code - "Every one should dress like Padmavati." And before the show there was this dancing ðð¼ pic.twitter.com/PKkEdbLXGx
— Komal Nahta (@KomalNahta) January 30, 2018The extent of the craze around the movie was also visible when 'Ghoomar' was chosen for a performance during a basketball match between Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat teams at the NBA (National Basketball Association) in the US. No points for guessing that it was a sight to behold.
While Karni Sena is still busy protesting against the movie, it's safe to say that the cast and crew are having a gala time with the amount of success the movie has already achieved. More power to you SLB!
