  1. It's not a surprise for us anymore that Ranveer Singh has his fashion game strong at all hours. Right from super funky tuxedos to making a statement in a queen-like avatar, he has broken all the stereotypes and turns heads in ensembles that raise eyebrows with NBD. That's exactly what makes him Ranveer Singh, a star whose flamboyance is exceptional and fairs right with his personality. View this post on Instagram Metallica! #ranveersingh in #gauravGupta #saintlaurent #franckmukller for #starscreenawards2019 #styling #redcarpet ð¸ @sheldon.santos A post shared by Nitasha Gaurav (@nitashagaurav) on Dec 8, 2019 at 8:04am PST It's not just his outfits that we are referring to but his accessory and shoe game is also proof that he is all things over-the-top. We can't and we won't ever stop diggin' his looks. This time around for an awards ceremony, our very own 'Baba' was spotted in a rather classy debonair. Add to that his wristwatch, which instantly ramped up his look to new heights. Now, if you are wondering what makes it worth Rs. 13,82,400, here you go: © Viral Bhayani © Franck Muller The Gully Boy actor is seen in Franck Muller's Iron Croco watch. The watch with its flamboyance adds to the striking aspect of its Croco series. The bearing has an automatic movement which is adorned with Rhodium plating with Côtes de Genève. This watch from the family of Croco series dials up the style quotient in an extravagant manner. View this post on Instagram @ranveersingh spotted wearing @franckmuller_geneve iron croco watch â¹13,82,400. The exotic Black Croco Collection from Franck Muller, first launched in 2011, was bold. It was a daring timepiece for the sartorially-confident man who had no qualms about making a statement. Two new additions, the Iron Croco and Gold Croco Collections join its predecessor, with 3-D scales in steel and gold variation. The crocodile skin patterns are further complemented with a black hand-sewn alligator strap, as a finishing touch. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #ranveersingh#hype#adidas#nas#badboy#styleofdday#simba#rohitsheety#dhadak#nike#celebrity#fashion#khushikapoor#bollywood#Style#instalike#mumbai#beyondtheclouds#india#jhanvikapoor#instadaily#instalove#trailerofdhadak#instafollow#celebslife#btownstylespotter#btownstyle#instalove#instalike#btownstyle#rolex#rich#luxury ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Tag ur Friendsð¤ Comment ð¬ Likeâï¸Share and Follow Us for more updates A post shared by btownstylespotter (@btownstyles) on Oct 19, 2019 at 7:53am PDT Furthermore, the watch case and the dial are dovetailed to create a scaled pattern similar to the strap. His phrase "apna time ayega" is enlivened just with his watch. Ranveer is now the brand ambassador of Franck Muller. On the work front, he recently wrapped up his schedule for '83 and is currently working on a new project, Jayesh Bhai Jordhar. © Viral Bhayani For his outfit, he made a head-turning statement in Gaurav Gupta ensemble and Saint Laurent shoes. 2. Anil Kapoor is a magician, if you ask us. We cannot recount the number of times we have seen his pictures on Instagram and asked ourselves, “How on earth does he manage to look so young?” And more to the point, far better than people half his age. © Instagram/anilskapoor Well, we do know that he has an impeccable eye for details and style, and that he takes what he wears very seriously. All of this, however, are just superficial, albeit, very important things. A sense of style of and an eye for detail will only help you to a very limited extent, if you don't have a strong base. Having a healthy and fit physique, A-level energy always at your disposal, is a major aspect that people often miss out on. © Instagram/anilskapoor Now, it seems that we finally know how exactly Anil Kapoor manages to stay jhakaas. It turns out, a lot of it has to do with the way he trains. Now, it's no secret that the man is nothing short of a beast when it comes to training. Even though he is touching 63, he trains in a manner which would leave 20-something Millenials gasping for breath. Take a look - View this post on Instagram Ain't no rain or shine getting in my way! The thing is, he trains with the best people. Recently, when Yohan Blake, a Jamaican track Olympian was in India, Anil took the opportunity to invite him to the track and train with him. © Instagram/anilskapoor And we're not speaking of a walk in the park, warm-up as training - it was a full-blown session, with Yohan spotting for Anil, timing his runs and doing everything that a track athletic trainer does. © Instagram/anilskapoor © Instagram/anilskapoor For people who do not follow athletics enthusiastically enough, Yohan Blake was crowned as the youngest 100m champion back in 2011 at the 2011 World Championships. In the 2012 London Olympics, he was just a fraction of a millisecond behind Usain Bolt, in both, the 100 metre and 200 metre sprints. © Instagram/yohanblake Saying that Yohan is the second-fastest man on earth, and clearly, one of the fastest in the world, ever, would not be farfetched. © Reuters What caught our eye was the watch that Yohan was wearing. After all, you don't see someone wearing a signature piece as unique as that. Yohan is seen wearing the Richard Mille RM 59-01 Yohan Blake edition. That's right, the athletic champion has a watch dedicated to his own name (two, actually). The particular piece that he is wearing retails for about $ 620,000 or Rs 4.42 crores, and is limited to just 50 pieces in the world. © Instagram/yohanblake That being said, we still cannot take our eyes off of Anil Kapoor. After all, who isn't enamoured by eternal youth. We will take what Anil has, over the RM any given day. View the full article

  6. In case the first Sunday of December is turning out to be overwhelming for you or today is the day you take out your woollens and pack away the tshirts, then I am guessing going out brunching or dining would not be on the list. So, for those of you who want some good recommendations on what to stream online today as you order your pizza and change back into the same pair of pyajamas after a hot shower, here are five new suggestions that have hit the streaming services and are ready to entertain you: 1. War The highly recommended action warfare with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff is all the aesthetic pleasure one needs on a lazy Sunday. Battle, bullets, ego, and some good action dished out by Bollywood's most flexible men. Stream it on Amazon Prime and chill with a pizza as their ripped figures make you consider getting a gym membership. 2. The Irishman The much awaited Martin Scorsese movie has been on our lists but given that fact that it is a long watch and one needs a lot of time to soak in the brilliance of Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, today seems to be the perfect day to do it and relax with a beer on the couch. 3. One Mic Stand I know there are a plethora of stand up acts out there but if you're in the mood of a funny intellectual watch and want to ditch your brains to spend it on a movie, then stream this instead. Bonus: Shashi Tharoor dishing out humour is more entertaining than reading a thesaurus decrypting his words. 4. Avengers Endgame I know we have a strata of fans who will go back to something comfortable as they scroll through their social media feed. This one needs no introduction and is ready to be your Sunday friend on Hotstar today. 5. Inside Edge If you loved the first season then you already have plans to stream the second one online this Friday. In case you didn't, then imagine a good looking fictional T20 team, match fixing, some hot cricket politics and more drama all packed in one. Stream the first season again and prepare for the next season, and make the most of today. View the full article
  7. The directorial debut of Australiaâs Anthony Maras, Hotel Mumbai revisits the deadly 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, which killed 166 people and lasted four days. The film is majorly set inside The Taj Mahal Palace in Colaba and the audience gets to see the chilling goings-on inside the hotel and how its staff managed to save the guests from the terrorists. Anupam Kher plays Chef Hemant Oberoi, who showed extraordinary courage during the 2008 attacks and the movie is told from his perspective. The film has already has hit the screens and people on Twitter have been appreciating the movie for its raw and powerful content. #HotelMumbai is well shot & directed, covers the horrific event of 26/11 attacks at Taj & gives us an insight of the events from the other side. The film's major drawback are the characters, there is no depth, no dimensions & often falls into the trap of cliches. Average Watch. â amit dadhich (@amit12354) November 29, 2019  Well, when you already know the course of events because the movie is following the real story, itâs hard to keep the audience hooked to the narrative, however, it seems that Hotel Mumbai has overcome that hurdle and has managed to keep people on the edge-of-the-seat with its gripping detail. People are recommending the movie as a promising watch, even though it's a gut-wrenching tale. #HotelMumbai shws how ordinary ppl emerge as extraordinary humans, displaying exemplary courage. @AnupamPKher is remarkable, #DevPatel stands out @armiehammer @NazaninBoniadi translate the fear & agony of th horrific 26/11 terror attack. Weâve had to amalgamate several characters into one and that was primarily done to respect the privacy of some of the people we had interviewed. These were people who were more than cooperative to share their accounts but didnât want their names to be used. We changed the names of several key characters, but the accounts are real.â Hereâs the trailer of the movie:  Planning to watch it over the weekend? Let us know in the comments section below. 9. The Apple Watch is now becoming an essential wearable to own and the smartwatch has been credited in the past for saving many lives. Apple introduced a fall detection feature with the Apple Watch Series 4 which has already saved a few lives. Last month, a hiker fell off a cliff and the same fall detection feature, that is unique to the Apple Watch, saved his life. © Apple In recent news, Police in England responded to yet another incident that involved a car accident. The man driving the car was unconscious after the car crash, his Apple Watch sent a call for help. The police have not made the survivor's details public but the official Twitter handle of Surrey Police tweeted about the incident. Last week we responded to an automated Apple Watch fall detection alert after a driver that was involved in a collision had been knocked unconscious. The alarm provided emergency responders with GPS data to quickly locate the scene. âï¸ð° > ððð@Apple @tim_cook pic.twitter.com/cmTW6K2na0 — RPU - Surrey Police (@SurreyRoadCops) November 4, 2019 © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla The Apple Watch's fall detection feature works once a user falls down. The watch will then buzz and sound an alarm for the user. It will then ask if you are fine or need any assistance. If the user is unable to respond in 30 seconds, it will call emergency services automatically and also sound an alarm to notify people who are nearby. The Apple Watch will also send the location of the user to the emergency services so that it is easier for them to be located. View the full article
  10. An injury is the worst that could happen to any athlete. Sitting out for a certain number of matches while the rest of your team continues to play on brings the worst feeling in your gut. And yet, it is a risk that comes with the opportunity to spend your life playing the sport that you love so dearly. On Sunday, Everton F.C. midfielder Andre Gomes faced a horrible leg injury when Tottenham Hotspur Forward Son Heung-min tackled him near the sidelines of Goodison Park. After immediately being rushed to the hospital and undergoing professional examination, it was declared that the Portugal star had suffered fracture dislocation of his right ankle but was expected to recover completely. While Gomes underwent surgery on Monday and was spotted exiting the hospital building last night, a video of doctors readjusting his ankle ahead of the operation found its way to the internet and has been blowing people's minds away. You can see how bad Gomes' injury is as soon as the video begins. The ankle is completely out of its socket and hanging loosely while the player cries out in unimaginable pain. The doctor tries a couple of times to push the foot back in place while holding his leg at the joint with both his hands but the pain makes Gomes cry out loud once more. “What are you doing?” asks the helpless footballer before the doctor decides to show some tough love. He holds the joint with one hand and grabs the foot with another and in one smooth motion relocates the ankle back in its spot. Thankfully, despite the painful injury, for a moment it looks like a normal foot before the video ends. No matter how strong of a stomach you have, you've got to cringe at least once during the harrowing 21-second footage. Even after going through an injury like that, the doctors expect the 26-year-old's full recovery as he now begins his journey back to health with The Toffees. Fans from all over the world are sending best wishes to the brave athlete: You'll come back stronger brother #Example @aftgomes ðð¾ pic.twitter.com/FIGkzGPW73 — Rafinha Alcantara (@Rafinha) November 4, 2019 Really want to wish Andre Gomes a very speedy & as comfortable a recovery as possible. 11. Alongside the new Mi CC9 Pro smartphone and the new Mi TV 5 Series, Xiaomi also launched its first smartwatch today in China. It's called the Mi Watch, and yes, it looks exactly like the Apple Watch. Ignoring the fact that it's an Apple Watch ripoff, we do think that it has a lot going for it. And outside China, the watch will be running Google's WearOS, so we think this could actually be a really good option for people who are looking to buy a smartwatch. Here are the top 4 features that make it a perfect smartwatch for Android users - Design © Xiaomi Yes, it looks like an Apple Watch. We've already covered that. But if you ignore that, then you can't deny the fact that it looks really good. Its square-ish form factor looks premium, it has a bezel-less display just like the Apple Watch Series 5, and it also has a digital crown, which makes it look like a traditional watch. The Mi Watch sports a 4D curved stainless steel design with scratch-resistant sapphire glass protection up top. The digital crown is also coupled with a vibration motor, so we assume using it will be similar to using the digital crown on the Apple Watch. The 44mm casing of the watch is made out of the ceramic back and an aluminium alloy. The display is an AMOLED panel, so you're getting the best panel out there. Powerful Internal Xiaomi's Mi Watch is the world's first smartwatch to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 3100 4G processor. In case you didn't know, most WearOS-powered smartwatches have trouble when it comes to performance, but we think the Mi Watch will an edge over the others mainly because of the processor. Obviously, the software also plays a huge role, but we think it won't have much trouble handling WearOS. In China, by the way, the Mi Watch will be running a customized version of MIUI. © Xiaomi Battery Life The Mi Watch packs a generous 570 mAh battery inside, which is quite impressive. With that, Xiaomi says the Watch will last for up to 36 hours on a single charge, which, if true, is quite remarkable. There aren't a lot of smartwatches out there that can last for 36 hours with all the bells and whistles like a 1.78-inch AMOLED panel, eSIM support, NFC, GPS, and more. The Mi Watch can also track all your fitness activities, thanks to all the built-in sensors. © Xiaomi Price Well, price isn't exactly a feature, but the Mi Watch comes with an attractive price tag. Just like most Xiaomi products, the Mi Watch has been priced very competitively in China, and we think the same will be reflected in international markets as well. Xiaomi has launched the Mi Watch for just 1200 Yuan, which roughly translates to about Rs 20,000. © Mi Watch Considering the fact that most Android Wear watches from the likes of Fossil, Huawei Watch and more are priced well above Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 mark, we think this will do well. With that being said, we're not entirely sure if the watch will make its way to India. Xiaomi has not confirmed anything about the watch's released outside China just yet, so we'll just have to wait for more info. View the full article

  13. Ever since Google broke the Fitbit acquisition news on Friday, there has been a lot of discussions about how Fitbit can help Google. This acquisition comes at a time when wearables, especially the fitness-centric wearables, are picking up once again in the market. While a lot of people are worried about their fitness and health-related data being used by Google to target them with ads, there's a positive side to this story. We think this acquisition can actually help Google build a good wearable. A perfect Apple Watch competitor for Android, if you will. (c) YouTube/ Fitbit Well, here are three ways in which Fitbit can help Google make the perfect Apple Watch competitor for Android. WearOS Needs Fitness-Centric Features WearOS, as a platform, lacked fitness-related features. Yes, it had Google Fit, but who uses Google Fit anyway? What Google needs right now is a smartwatch OS with a variety of fitness-centric features baked right into. Put all the features that are necessary to any given workout like the Apple Watch does and make it fun. Seriously, an Apple Watch can detect a fall and contact emergency service on its own. How cool is that? We need something like that, Google. YouTube/ Karl Konrad Heart Rate Tracking In case you don't know, Fitbit is popular for its PurePulse heart rate tracking technology. Fitbit's wearables are highly capable of keeping a proper track of your heart rate and making sure you have the data when you need it. We'll be bummed if Google doesn't use this technology. Heart rate tracking is really a big feature. Even a lot of basic fitness trackers can do that. But Fitbit's tech is both consistent and accurate, so we think it has the potential to rival Apple Watch's HR tracking capabilities. Heck, we'd love to see something like that. Sharing Is Caring YouTube/ Fitbit Working out and trying to be fit and healthy is usually a little less nerve-wracking when you do it with someone or even in a group. The Apple Watch does it exceptionally well. You can invite other Apple Watch users to compete with you while hitting your daily and weekly goals. That's the kind of social sharing features we want on a fitness-centric device. Fitbit already has a huge community of fitness-enthusiasts who are constantly using the app, and competing with others. We think Google can leverage such a strong community and make its platform better and more engaging. Look, the reason why Apple Watch is as popular as it is today is that it gives people a reason to buy. Convincing someone to spend upwards of Rs 20,000 for a smartphone companion is a tough nut to crack. But when you sell it as a product that can help you live a better and health-conscious life that also happens to be a smartphone companion makes it that much better. Well, that's exactly what Google needs right now and we think Fitbit can help them achieve that. View the full article

  16. The Apple Watch is like the holy grail of smartwatches. It works extraordinarily well with an iPhone, without almost nothing to complain about. However, most people don't have an Apple Watch simply because either it's too expensive or they don't have an iPhone to use it with. Well, Xiaomi appears to be launching a new smartwatch and, it actually looks like an Apple Watch clone. Check it out - © Weibo Looks like an Apple Watch, right? Well, that image was pulled straight out of a Chinese social media platform where Xiaomi's CEO has been teasing these products before launch, for a while now. Xiaomi has even started teasing the launch of this watch in China. Here's a teaser image - © Weibo Obviously, there's a lot that we don't know about this watch like the display specs, internals, OS, and more. All we know is that the watch will be available in black and silver colors with matching bands. We can also see an Apple Watch-like digital crown on the side. © MensXP/ Akshay Bhalla In addition to the 'Mi Watch', Xiaomi is also said to launch the new Mi TV 5 series along with the new Mi Note 10. The event is scheduled to take place next week i.e. on November 5 and we just can't wait to get our hands on the Mi Watch. We're not sure if Xiaomi will bring the watch to India, but considering the fact that India is a key market for them, it should arrive here soon. View the full article

  18. After seeing Bareilly, Allahabad and several other towns get their own filmi adaptations, Kanpur finally gets its own story told through Kanpuriye. Starring Aparshakti Khurrana, Divyendu Sharma, Harshita Gaur and Vijay Raaz, the film takes on a city full of dreamers, and how those dreams aren't always destined to become reality. We spoke to lead actor Aparshakti Khurrana to learn more about this new take on coming-of-age in small-town India, and why it's worth a watch. Uncharted Territory View this post on Instagram When the whole universe conspires to make a beautiful dream come true. Thanku team #Kanpurmovie â¤ï¸ #films #movies #kanpur #stories #cinema #shootdiaries PC: @nitishiii_pictures @ankitsoni793 A post shared by Bohemian (@ashish_aryan) on May 2, 2019 at 11:14am PDT Bollywood hasn't been too shy about shooting on-location at small towns - Bareilly, Jhansi, Haridwar and Lucknow have all made it to the big screen, but Kanpur hasn't really had an honest portrayal other than a few scenes in the Tanu Weds Manu series. “People had not really visited Kanpur [in films], and it's a really quirky city,” shares Khurrana. “People have a lot of confidence, matlab, the characters here are genuinely worth filming.” Written By A Kanpuriya Himself View this post on Instagram You know friends r real n forever when they bring delicious Aaloo ka parathas from home ð ♥ï¸#dubbing #session #kanpur #films #movies #realfriends A post shared by Bohemian (@ashish_aryan) on Sep 9, 2019 at 1:38am PDT It also helps that director-scriptwriter Ashish Aryan happens to be born and brought up in Kanpur. “When he narrated the script to me,” continues Khurrana, “I thought it had a very realistic approach. Our films normally have a very happy ending, so to say. This is a film where dreams are not achieved, which is the reality of life. More often than not, 99% of the population have dreams, but they never come true. It's important for someone to come out and say 'bas filmon mein hota hai'. Truly Kanpuriye Characters View this post on Instagram One happy family â¤ï¸ A post shared by Bohemian (@ashish_aryan) on Jul 6, 2019 at 11:12am PDT While Khurrana's acting helps bring the town to life, he also admits that Kanpur had a lot of unexpected surprises and lessons in store for him. “I was just crossing one of the streets with my director, and there was a street-food vendor next to us," he recollects. "His stall had a graphic on it that said 'yahan milti hain muskurate hue tikkiyan aur uchalte hue burgerein'. I had never heard that! I never thought that people would have the creative agency to do that!” A lot of the location's uniqueness seeps into the characters, and plays out in the funny yet unfortunate situations they find themselves in. Jaitun, played by Khurrana, has a bright career waiting ahead of him in Mumbai, but is held back by his feelings for Bulbul (Harshita Gaur), much to the displeasure of his family. Gaur also reunites with Divyendu Sharma after they were cast in 2018's Mirzapur. This time, Sharma plays Vijay, an aspiring lawyer at loggerheads with his father, who would rather see his son become a delivery boy. Finally, there's the dynamic father-son duo of Lampat and Jugnu, played by Vijay Raaz and Harsh Mayar. Yet again, the theme of generations at conflict arises - instead of dealing with careers and love, Lampat tries to convince his son to start reading erotic magazines. It's a riot to watch the veteran actor at his best - despite him being a bit typecast. "There's so many people in Mumbai who want to be actors. They're well-exposed, have seen the world of filmmaking, but aren't quite able to crack it. Then, a small-town guy from Chandigarh comes in, and is able to do it. It's only his wisdom of life - most good actors are relatively equally talented in the performing arts, but that core wisdom is what creates success.” Kanpuriye is now streaming on Hotstar and you can catch it here.
  19. Apple Watch has now become one of the most essential gadgets to own, thanks to its various health tracking features. It has been responsible for saving lives in the past too and recently, a feature that was introduced on the Apple Watch Series 4 saved a man's life this time around. Apple introduced the “fall detection” feature that alerts emergency services if a user takes a hard fall and does not get up after a minute. © Apple After the first minute, the watch will buzz and sound an alarm. It will then ask if you are fine or need any assistance. If the user is unable to respond in 30 seconds, it will call emergency services automatically and also sound an alarm to notify people who are nearby. The Apple Watch will also send the location of the user to the emergency services so that it is easier for them to be located. This feature has been responsible in the past for saving a man's life after he fell during a biking accident. Now the same feature has saved a man's life who's from New Jersey and had suffered a fall from a cliff while out for a hike. © Pinterest(For representation purposes only) News12 New Jersey reported that the man was hiking in Hartshorne Woods Park. While hiking, he fell from a very steep cliff but did not suffer any life-threatening injuries. The report said, “Prudenciano fell into the river and landed on a rock. He suffered three fractures in his back, scratches and thorns that are still lodged in his foot.” “I was screaming that I'm going to die because I really felt I was going to die,” Prudenciano said. “There was no way out of this for me. I literally said my last goodbyes.” He was miraculously saved, thanks to his Apple Watch as it detected the hard fall and called 911. This feature only works on the Lte variant of the Apple Watch but does not require a carrier plan to dial emergency services. Source: News12 New Jersey
  20. When it comes to men's accessories, watches win the race hands down, and rightfully so. They no longer just serve as devices that tell you the time, but have transformed themselves into indicators of one's 'woke'-ness, when it comes to fashion consciousness. While the market is saturated with thousands of choices, the only way to steal the limelight is choosing something that is unapologetically conspicuous, while not compromising on the sophistication scale. One brand that has decoded the formula of arriving at that perfect balance, is Swatch. When Swatch launched its 'Big Bold' collection, watch enthusiasts were blessed with a line that not only was extremely fashionable, but also boasted of a rare aesthetic that was phenomenally playful. (c) Swatch (c) Swatch Armed with a massive Ø47mm watch head covered with a slightly curved glass, the Big Bold Collection stays true to what it promised. The 6 variants with unique colours proved themselves worthy enough to take the urban streetwear game to the next level. (c) Swatch (c) Swatch Encouraged by the utterly positive response, Swatch decided to collaborate with one of the leading fashion labels in the world, 'A Bathing Ape', commonly known as 'Bape'. What came out of the collab is functionally one of the coolest things that we have witnessed. (c) MensXP SwatchXBape resulted in one of the funkiest watches the world has seen - 'Big Bold Bape The World Watch'. The pre-launch global event for that was organised on the 31st of May in Tokyo. (c) Swatch The collaboration resulted in a super cool collection of 6 watches inspired by (mega)-cities and the globe, namely, Bern, London, New York City, Paris, Tokyo and the entire planet. All six models feature a newly designed signature BAPE® camo pattern as well as the Ape Head logo on the hour hand and the lower strap, while the enhanced Swatch logo is invocative of the watchmaker's debut in the 1980s. The five city watches are numbered and limited to either 983 or 1993 pieces, paying tribute to each brand's respective birth year. Together with the sixth model BIG BOLD BAPE The World, this limited-edition collection shouts out to big personalities, celebrating the world, diversity and time. However, only the World watch will be available in India. (c) Swatch The World Watch definitely counts as a piece which is a statement collectible, being a part of an exclusive limited collection with a limited number of pieces. It will be available only at the Swatch exclusive store in Palladium mall, Mumbai. Launching on the 15th of June, this limited edition piece will cost INR 9250/-. (c) Swatch All we can say is that for watch enthusiasts, this collaboration right here definitely marks one of those rare instances where two fashion giants together gave rise to something so unique yet functional, which will be appreciated by connoisseurs and novices alike.
  21. Drake, who has churned out hit songs like 'In my feelings', is also a big fan of the NBA. When not producing songs, he's an active spectator at the NBA matches. He was last seen at the Golden State Warriors versus Toronto Raptors in Game Five of the NBA Finals, where the Golden State Warriors won. © Getty Images But here's why this match is so important: Drake wore an erotic timepiece that said, "I'd love to kiss your p***y.” © Getty Images To be precise, he wore a black Nike T-shirt and track pants with a $750,000 (which translates to 5,20,06,875 rupees, which is almost 5.2 crores) Richard Mille '69 Tourbillon Erotic' watch which has bars like a cinema box that you can twist to your fancy. The bar has settings with random sentences broken down so that you mix and match. The top bar can be changed to, “I want to,” “I need to,” “I long to,” “I lust to,” “I'd love to” and “Let me.” The middle bar adds in “explore,” “taste,” “kiss,” “arouse,” “devour” and “caress.” And the bottom bar gets into the specifics: “you tonight,” “your lips,” “your body,” “your n*****s,” “your p***y” and “you madly.” These are end number of sentences you could form on the dial to flatter your woman. © Richard Mille According to the brand website's description: "Activated on request by pressing a button at 10 o'clock, it plainly reveals the wearer's deepest desires.” Sounds like a horny watch which, although rather expensive, is making a statement, and we're just wondering if Kiki is impressed.
  22. If there is one thing that never fails to unite the entire Indian subcontinent, regardless of their many differences, it is the possibility of watching India and Pakistan butt heads on the cricket field. The excitement is buzzing at all times, the anticipation is almost palpable as the arch rivals get ready for the face-off, while the cheering can get bad enough to numb the ears. Literally. © Twitter People from both sides of the border wait with bated breath before every delivery, and after every shot that is played, let alone the times when the third umpire gets involved. There's no denying that both India and Pakistan feel very strongly about any and every cricket match between the two countries. © Twitter However, now with the ICC World Cup kick-starting in just a few hours, and with the Indo-Pak match scheduled for 16th June, the pheromones are only expected to get crazier with each passing day. But, what's crazier still is that so many people are willing to spend a fortune to catch the Indo-Pak clash LIVE in Manchester. © Twitter If you happen to be one of those who are considering (no matter how last minute it may seem now) to fly down to England in the new couple of days to catch the ICC World Cup LIVE, here is the cheapest way to get it done. Two-Way Air Ticket Expenses © Getty Images Managing the travel expenses will be the biggest concern while putting this trip together. The distance as well as the growing demands for tickets due to the World Cup might force you to shell out a good amount of money to reach your destination. The round-trip air fare for Economy tickets from Delhi to London and back, will cost you Rs 55,000 approximately. Two-Way Air Tickets Per Head (Approx.): Rs. 55,000 Lodging Expenses © Getty Images Since the Indo-Pak clash is scheduled to take place in Manchester, ideally one should look for a place that is as close to Old Trafford as possible. However, that means excessive expenditure because of the surging hotel fares. So we suggest opting for the cheapest AirBnB option instead. An AirBnB lodging in someplace like Failsworth will cost you approximately Rs 2,600 per night. Depending on how long you plan to stay after the Indo-Pak match (and how good or bad the result of the match is), you'd better do the required math for your lodging expenses. AirBnB Lodging Per Night (Approx.): Rs 2,600 © Twitter Those two would be the two of your major expenses apart from inter-city commutation, sightseeing and food expenditure which again depends on personal preferences and cannot be generalised. However, given that the value of the pound is touching the sky at Rs. 88 we presume that's also going to add bulk to your trip in a lot of ways. Estimated Total Travel & Lodging Expenses For 2 Night/3 Days (Inclusive of Food,Sightseeing, etc): ≤ Rs. 1.20 Lakhs That ain't cheap, but if it's last minute and you wish to make the most of the trip to London, it can't get cheaper than this.
  23. Ever since they made their World Cup debut in 1999, Bangladesh have managed to stick around the quadrennial event. Their best finish at a World Cup, however, came in the 2015 edition, during which they reached the quarterfinals whilst also defeating England once in the group stages. Their journey only came to an end, once they locked horns against neighbouring rivals, India in the quarterfinals. Heading into the ICC spectacle, the Tigers seem to be a well-balanced team and their fierce bowling attack might be their strong point. Here are the five key players of the Bangladeshi team the world needs to look out for: 1. Mashrafe Mortaza © Reuters Captain Mashrafe Mortaza has to be the most valuable cricketer in the Bangladeshi lineup. The amount of experience he has gathered in the past 18 years ever since he made his debut against Zimbabwe in 2001, will come to good use here. It is under his leadership that the talent-laden yet fragile team has done whatever good that they have in international cricket. The right-arm pacer has been a part of 209 ODI matches and has taken 265 wickets with a moderate economy of 4.82. While the fast bowler's numbers have become worse with time and he missed out on a couple of matches thanks to multiple knee injuries, his presence in the roster has to do a lot with his ability to guide the younger players. 2. Shakib Al Hasan © Reuters The ODI tri-series between Bangladesh, Ireland and the West Indies not only saw the team make a comeback to their form after being dominated by New Zealand in February but also saw the rise of Shakib Al Hasan to claim the top spot in the ICC ODI rankings for all-rounders. Having played in 198 ODIs throughout his career, Hasan has scored 5717 runs and has taken 249 wickets too. In 2019 so far, he has played three ODIs, hit 140 runs and has taken two wickets. 3. Rubel Hossain © Reuters The 29-year-old pacer is known for his ability to limit the batsmen from putting up big numbers, especially during batting power plays and death overs. The presence of Hossain in the team gives Bangladesh the high pace that they otherwise lack. Getting alongside Mustafizur Rahman, he can produce some great bowling spells late in the game. Ever since he debuted for his team as a teenager, a decade ago, Rubel has played in 97 ODI games and picked up 123 wickets in the process and is currently ranked at the 63rd spot in ICC Rankings for ODI bowlers. 4. Mahmudullah Riyad © Reuters After Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad is expected to do wonders both as a batsman and with the ball. Due to the lack of good hitters in the sixth and the seventh spot in the Bangladeshi batting order, Riyad might feel a certain amount of pressure while heading towards the crease if the batsmen ahead of him fail to provide. He has played 175 ODIs till date in which he has made 3757 runs while also taking 76 wickets. IN 2019, Mahmudullah has only participated in six games, during which he has made 120 runs and scalped just one wicket. 5. Tamim Iqbal © Reuters Yet another veteran with World Cup experience in his pocket. After making his debut in 2007, Iqbal was called for the World Cup 2007 and then made a return for the 2015 World Cup. As a vital cog of the Tigers' batting order, Iqbal has spent more than a decade's worth of time on the crease. In 193 ODI games, Iqbal has scored a staggering 6636 runs and is having a great 2019 season during which he has scored 186 runs in just seven innings which includes two half-tons and an 80-run-performance.
  24. Ever since winning the 2015 World Cup, the Australian cricket team has found themselves amidst controversies, bad reputation and spiralling form. The suspension of two of their finest cricketers in Steve Smith and David Warner in the infamous sandpaper gate in South Africa last year, the resignation of Darren Lehmann after the news of a toxic environment in the dressing room broke out and Cricket Australia being reprimanded for forcing the athletes to “win at all costs”, are only some of the problems that shook the core of cricket Down Under in the past year or so. Nonetheless, Australia looked like their old self during their tour to India when after losing two ODIs, they made an unbelievable comeback to win the next three and the series too, and they achieved this feat without Warner and Smith. Now that they are here, they might just be able to give major teams like England and India a run for their money if they want to take away the title from the reigning champions. Here's a list of five Australian key players this World Cup: 1. David Warner © Reuters Let's not kid ourselves here. Despite being suspended for a year, David Warner is probably the best batsman on the Australian roster right now and has enough skills to single-handedly take Australia to a respectable finish this World Cup. Making appearances in 106 ODIs for his country, Warner has scored a total of 4343 runs. Being one of five players with prior World Cup experience, Warner starting the batting order with skipper Aaron Finch will help the team be better. 2. Aaron Finch © Reuters Being the captain of the reigning championship team brings added pressure on Aaron Finch's shoulders. However, keeping in mind his new found form in the ODI format against Pakistan surely gives him a sense of confidence in his leadership. Although Finch had a great opening partner in Usman Khawaja, Warner certainly is an upgrade and will allow Finch to settle in and play in a more composed manner. In his career, the skipper has played in 109 ODIs and scored 4052 runs and has had a great year till now, putting up 634 runs in 13 ODIs. 3. Pat Cummins © Reuters With Mitch Starc and Josh Hazlewood sitting out of the competition due to injuries, Pat Cummins will be leading the bowling attack with the new ball with which he has been absolutely deadly, bringing in variations in his speed, swing and seam. Having played in just six ODIs, Cummins' bowling performance has been exceptional as he has bagged 17 wickets while giving away a moderate 4.39 runs per over. His middle to lower order batting prowess also adds to the Australian batting muscle and could be useful if his side finds itself in wicket-trouble. 4. Glenn Maxwell © Reuters Be it T20s or ODIs, when the captain of the fielding side sees Glenn Maxwell walk up to the pitch and practice his big shots in the air, he ought to send a couple of his boys to the boundary. Such is the terror of this 30-year-old athlete. In the bowling department, Maxwell is ready to take the charge for the spinners alongside Adam Zampa. His strike rate during the previous World Cup was a scary 182 and has scored 2,700 in 100 matches that he has been a part of throughout his career. In 2019, Maxwell has scored 458 runs in 12 ODI matches. 5. Mitchell Starc © Reuters One of the scariest bowlers of the cricketing world, Mitchell Starc is bound to leave a mark in England and Wales this World Cup. Even though he played his previous ODI in November 2018, his ability to deliver the yorker along with enough skills to hold on to the crease as a lower-order batsman make him a perfect fit for the Australians. Starc has played 75 ODIs and picked 145 scalps including five mind-boggling 5-wicket hauls. He also happens to be the only Australian bowler to make the squad for both 2015 and 2019.
  25. Rajkumar Gupta has a rather unique way of projecting real stories on the big screen. This time, he chose to dig out the arrest of India's Osama Bin Laden, Yasin Bhatkal or as he is called in the movie, Yusuf. Despite its flaws, 'India's Most Wanted' does make it a point to keep you hooked and engaged in how a small group of officers from the Intelligence Bureau, carried out India's most covert mission. In bits and pieces, Rajkumar Gupta has given us crucial information about the serial blasts that ripped across the country over these years and the mastermind behind it all. © Fox Star Studios The movie has shunned the entire idea of how one thinks an IB officer should be. Instead of going all guns ablaze with James Bond-esque fight scenes and lines dripping with vengeance, 'India's Most Wanted' has completely normalized the scenario, giving it a very raw and realistic aesthetic and you have five very normal-looking people who have normal lives, taking up the almost impossible mission of finding Yusuf. Let me tell you the movie is most definitely worth the watch, despite falling short in a few areas. The first half sets the base for the plot to develop and can get a little dragged-out at some points. But it's the second half of the movie that is more interesting as we get to see the real meat of the story. Of course, the movie could have been better, considering Rajkumar Gupta was the captain of the ship. But, let's take a moment to applaud the director's attempt at something different. Arjun Kapoor has also tried something that's way too different from his regular roles and has surely tried to break out of his shell. He has a certain calmness in his attitude as the man leading the manhunt for the wanted terrorist, but at times, you feel he is a little disinterested and some scenes have come out in a very linear way. If you are wondering the supporting cast has nothing to add to, then you are probably wrong. They have done a brilliant job. The script has been written in such a way that every character has its own space and is justified. Arjun's character Prabhat has got the perfect shield from the supporting cast. The entire mission is carried out in Nepal and somewhere, the movie also goes into details about the relationship between India and the neighbouring nation. Cinematography is one of the major highlights of the movie, as it has beautifully captured the scenic beauty of Nepal. I feel that Sudev Nair, who played the role of India's Most Wanted, Yusuf, could have been a bit more believable. The introduction set for him is pretty strong in the movie, but when you see him at the end, you feel as if all efforts have gone down the drain, as he isn't that convincing as India's Osama. Obviously, I won't give away the climax but I feel that somewhere there the storyline took a fall and failed in packing the perfect punch. Arjun has delivered a very different sort of character, but in the climax, I feel he failed a bit in coming through. Dialogues in the movie follow a pattern. Sometimes, you would feel they are on point and give you goosebumps and sometimes, they seem rather off the mark. But, the idea is not to show jingoism on the screen. Despite all its shortcomings, the movie still managed to instil faith and hope in our Nation and its forces, who may not always get the credit for serving the country. In conclusion, the movie is worth the watch and is a fitting tribute to India's unsung heroes.
