Sikh Community Once Again Comes To The Rescue, Serves Langar To Protesting Farmers In Mumbai

The farmer community from across the nation is currently staging a strong protest in Mumbai in order to make their demands heard and resolved at the soonest. While it is a sad state for the community that works extremely hard to give us sustainable agriculture, the people in Mumbai are doing their bit by helping in serving food and water to the agitating farmers. The Sikh community has joined hands and langar is being served to everyone on the streets.

The concept of langar translates to 'seva', in service for humanity.

This is a tale of humanity over everything else. Thousands of farmers are marching on foot across the city right now and while the state government is just busy designing a committee to hear their demands, the people are out on the streets doing exactly what needs to be done to fellow humans.
