One killed, four injured in explosion in Egypt's Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA: A bomb exploded in a car in Alexandria near the convoy of the northern Egyptian city's security chief on Saturday, killing a policeman, the government press office said.
It said the explosion, which came ahead of the start of Egypt´s presidential election on Monday, also left four others wounded.
Reports on Twitter indicated that the blast occurred near the Tolip Hotel on Saturday afternoon in Stanley, a neighbourhood in Egypt's second city.
A resident from Alexandria posted photos of smoke rising from the explosion site.
