DxOmark has published a new report that suggests Huawei's P20 Pro has the best camera on a smartphone. The organisation's benchmark is inarguably becoming the industry standard for camera comparison on smartphones. The Huawei P20 made an appearance on the top of the list and it managed to defeat the Samsung Galaxy S9+, Pixel 2 and the iPhone X. It was 10 points clear of the Galaxy S9+ which was previously at the top of the list.

The Huawei P20 Pro manages to score 109 on DxOmark's benchmarks and is now the world's best camera smartphone. What's intriguing is that the cheaper P20 also managed outscore the Samsung Galaxy S9+, Pixel 2 and the iPhone X.

The P20 Pro features three Leica sensors i.e. a 40-megapixel RGB sensor, a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor which helps in capturing crisper images and enhances details. The Huawei P20 pro also has a 5X Hyper Zoom which lets it capture images with more clarity than ever before.
The Huawei P20 Pro has a 6.1-inch FullView FHD+ (2240x1080) OLED display and has a 19:9 aspect ratio thanks to a notch. The device is powered by Huawei's property chipset i.e. the Kirin 970 SoC. The chipset is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. Apart from these features, the smartphone runs EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
