The current flood situation in Assam has created havoc and claimed many lives. The topography of the state makes it vulnerable to this similar situation every year, thus making the living conditions for the locals extremely tough. 

Amidst this sad situation in the state, the Khalsa Aid volunteers from Punjab are helping the people stranded in the area.

Besides helping people evacuate, the volunteers are also providing the victims with food and other basic ammenties.

They hired boats to help people leave the area and provide them with sanitary items and groceries.
