The Ambani's are celebrating their eldest son's wedding in the grandest fashion imaginable. Last night was the pre-engagement bash (an event we didn't know existed) of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta. It was an occasion that saw everybody in the family put their best (read expensive!) fashion foot forward. 

The event also saw many A-list celebrities in attendance, who might we add, looked as regal as the decor. Here are all the best looks from last night's extravagant event:

First up, the groom himself. Akash can be seen wearing a deep purple ajrak-style kurta with bright buttons, paired with a white churidar and brown shoes. The groom looks regal and the choice of color, we must add, is quite unusual yet suits him.

Karan Johar chose to opt for a regal red kurta with golden embellishments, paired with a white pyjama and black juti-style shoes from Christian Louboutin.

King Khan was snapped at the event in western formals. Seen wearing a custom suit from Masculine, he finished the look with a matching tie and a pocket square along with a pair of black shoes.

Ranbir was snapped with 'Brahmastra' director Ayaan Mukherjee. Ayaan wore a short blue kurta with dhoti style pyjama along with a pink pocket square and brown shoes. Ranbir can be seen wearing a striped kurta along with a blue churidar and a white Nehru jacket, all courtesy of Rohit Bal. He finished the look with a stylish pair of black sandals.

Finally the new damaad in town, Nick Jonas was snapped with his rumoured lady-love Priyanka Chopra wearing a navy blue soft check suit with a white shirt. He finished the look with black shoes. 

Honestly, we are hoping Nick will wear Indian formals for the grand Ambani wedding, so that we too can get a vibe of his 'to-be' wedding!
