The Avengers Assemble To Pay Emotional Tributes To Stan Lee, 'The Father Of Marvel Comics'

Stan Lee, the father of Marvel comics, is better known to the world as the creator (read god) of a galaxy of superheroes, that every millennial has grown up with vivid memories of.

We have had our share of Iron Man's grit, Hulk's bulk that's representative of his emotions, Captain America's towering presence, besides discovering the many facets of all the other memorable characters that Lee created, over the years.

He breathed his last on 12th November, at the age of 95.

Social media is abuzz with a gazillion people sharing their personal encounters with the jovial star, while others have simply joined in to bid him a sad goodbye.

While the entire world mourns the loss of a legend, actors who brought Lee's creations to life on the big screen came together to pay their tributes in their own special ways.

From Chris Evans to Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo, here's how the 'Avengers' stars said their final goodbye to the Marvel universe creator, the legendary Stan Lee.

Sad, sad day. Rest In Power, Uncle Stan. You have made the world a better place through the power of modern mythology and your love of this messy business of being human... pic.twitter.com/x6yZ6ClNSX

There will never be another Stan Lee. For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy. He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives. Excelsior!!

Jackson reminded us of all the goodness Lee blessed us with, in very simple words.

Thank you @TheRealStanLee for the escape from this world & great joy inhabiting the ones you created!! You made so many believe in the good, the heroic, the villainous, the exciting, most of all, you were giving & gracious to us all. RIP

Other superheroes from the Marvel universe also shared their sadness over the loss, by the means of sentimental posts. Hugh Jackman led the way and many others followed soon.

We've lost a creative genius. Stan Lee was a pioneering force in the superhero universe. I'm proud to have been a small part of his legacy and .... to have helped bring one of his characters to life. #StanLee #Wolverine pic.twitter.com/iOdefi7iYz

Tom Holland rightly voiced our shared sentiment that we shall all be “indebted” to Lee for everything he gifted us with.

How many millions of us are indebted to this guy, none more so than me. The father of Marvel has made so many people so incredibly happy. What a life and what a thing to have achieved. Rest in peace Stan

Thanks for everything Stan Lee! What a life, so well lived. I consider myself extraordinarily lucky to have gotten to meet you and to have played in the world you created.
