Imagine you are at a family gathering and your parents introduce you to someone you don't know. You neither know their name nor their age, so you 'not-so-innocently' address them as aunty or uncle. What follows soon is a 5-minute long awkward silence before either of you move out of the room. 

Yes, we've all been there and so has Union Minister Smriti Irani.

The 42-year-old former television actor and now Union Textile Minister is younger than Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kajol and Sushmita Sen and a lot of other actors. Yet, she had a brutal realisation recently when she met young Janhvi Kapoor at the airport, and got called the one word a lot of women dread- 'aunty'.    

Calling it 'the someone shoot me' moment, Smriti Irani even posted about the same on social media and we guess it's time to accept the fact that 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Thi' is ancient now.

While Irani has a smile on her face, we all can see that this moment is not going to sink in anytime soon for her.
