Bihar Police Blamed Rats For Missing 9 Lakh Litres Of Alcohol Twitter Filled In The Gaps

First it was the Nagpur Rail Cops who claimed that rats were behind 25kgs of missing marijuana, now the Bihar Police has also tried using the same excuse. They are blaming rats for drinking 9 lakh litres of seized alcohol stored in the Police Station ‘malkhanas’. Yes, they are actually saying that rats drank that much alcohol.

The award for the most bizarre news of the week goes to this.

Bihar was declared a dry state a little while ago, so the Police seizes all the alcohol from the citizens who break this law. And now that it was revealed that more than 9 lakh litres of alcohol are missing, the Police put the blame on poor rats.

But Patna SSP, Manu Maharaj had no knowledge about the claims.

But that didn’t stop people on Twitter trolling the hell out of the Bihar Police!

Bihar cops claim rats drank confiscated alcohol. Well in a state, where humans eat 'chaara', meant for cattle, why can't rats drink alcohol?

I tell you rats in Bihar are such drunkards. Even if the police had sold all that liquor in black they couldn't have finished it. https://t.co/A4afR7hr1V

I don't think rats drank the confiscated liquor. They're better than that.

Why rats can't finish 9 lac litres alcohol if Lalu can eat tons of fodder alone. -Bihar Police
