If you were offered free food somewhere, you would obviously jump at the offer, right? Because, well, free food! Turns out Liam Neeson is no different.

Recently, Liam Neeson was in New Westminister, Vancouver filming the movie ‘Hard Powder’, coming out in 2018. When the employees at Big Star Sandwich heard that, they decided to put a message on the board outside offering him a free mean, since there were a lot of Liam Neeson superfans on the staff. 

The sign read: "Liam Neeson eats here for free" and "Come in and get Taken away by our sandwiches."

Apparently, they put the sign up in the morning and Neeson showed up that afternoon itself!

Alex Johrden, Big Star's director of operations said the two employees, Kyle Gus and Serge Patoka, were totally surprised when he walked through the door.

"We had no idea he would be in our vicinity," Johrden said. "I assume someone on the film crew saw the sign and got it back to him."

The sandwich shop put up a picture on their Facebook page with the caption "Holy f**k, it worked!"

Even though Liam Neeson actually didn’t take them up on the offer, since he was in a rush, but he still made sure to take picture with the two employees. Look, how excited everyone is!

"As you can see in the photo, they're about as stoked as they've ever been in their lives."
