The Raghu Dixit Project is fronted by singer-songwriter, producer and composer Raghu Dixit. The folk band creates a unique blend of Indian ethnic sounds combined with music influences from around the world. The happy and infectious music is doesn’t just transcend genre, but also language.

Even though it took Raghu Dixit over twelve years to release his first album, ‘Antaragni – The Fire Within’, it was well worth the wait. The album had quite an impact and was one of the highlights in the indie music scene in India. At the moment, he has established himself as the frontrunner in the live indie music scene. 

‘Jag Changa’, the second studio album by The Raghu Dixit Project, was released in 2013. The lyrics in the album ranged from Hindi to Kannada to Tamil and the album saw great commercial as well as critical success. The eight-track album is hailed as some of Dixit’s best work with its soulful and earthy vibe. 

Raghu Dixit has performed live at a bunch of prestigious Indian as well as international venues, one of the most notable being his performance at the Diamond Jubilee Pageant for Queen Elizabeth II of England and her husband the Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip.
