Nothing is cooler than a Batman-themed night club, with a Bat beacon shining straight up in the sky. Such was the case back in 1995, when this club was the hippest place in the whole of Thailand, popular amongst the drug loving hippies there.  The once happening six storey party cove was shut down within 18 months following the charges of underage drug abuse. Not really surprising, is it?

Now 20 years later, the club is in absolute ruins. Still frequented by junkies, but of the different kind, the place reeks of years of abandonment.

American photographer Dax Ward visited the place that now resembles the Arkham Asylum from the Batman games we all know and love and came out with some spectacular shots that are every bit haunting.
