The nation is still coming to terms with Modi’s sudden announcement and the demonetisation is still shaking the country. While the opinion stays divided on whether it is a good move or a bad move, many influential people have already put forward their opinions. Some ministers are appreciating the move, Bollywood is supporting the PM in full flow and Mamta Banerjee is openly questioning it.

Arvind Kejriwal, however, has a completely different opinion on it. Apparently, the Delhi CM is questioning the PM’s motive behind the announcement and is linking that to Paytm.

Paytm took out full page ads, supporting Modi’s decision and even had a picture of his on the advertisements. Paytm has interestingly witnessed a 25% growth in their sales in one day after the economy has gone the cashless way.
