Ever since the release of Kabir Singh in 2019, Shahid Kapoor fans are waiting to see him on the big screen once again. After a long wait, the actor is now all set to entertain moviegoers with his next release, Jersey. The much-awaited sports drama is slated to release on April 14 in the theatres and Shahid is currently busy promoting the film.
    View this post on Instagram
Recently, during an interview, Shahid made a shocking revelation that his wife Mira Rajput once wanted to end her marriage with him. Yes, you read that right! However, it's nothing like what you might be thinking. Well, she had doubts about being with Shahid after watching him in Udta Punjab.
Recalling the incident, in an interview with News18, the Jab We Met star stated how Mira thought that she tied the knot with the wrong person after seeing his performance as Tommy Singh in Udta Punjab.
He said, "A very funny thing happened, when Mira and I just got married. I took her to see Udta Punjab before it released, and we saw it in the editing room. I was going, so I was like, 'You want to come?' and she was like, 'Yes, I'll come'".
    View this post on Instagram
Mira was sitting next to him when the movie started, but when the actor looked over during the intermission, she had moved away from him. He added, "She was literally five feet away. And I was like, 'What happened?' We had just married. Aur arranged marriage thi, we didn’t know each other that well… She looked at me, and her first question was, 'Are you this guy? Are you like him? I don't want to be with you'. I said, 'No, no, that's Tommy Singh. That has nothing to do with me'".
    Well, that's interesting!
For the unversed, Shahid and Mira exchanged wedding vows in 2014 and are parents to two children - Misha and Zain.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Shahid is excited about the release of Jersey, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. It is slated to clash with Yash-starrer KGF 2 and Thalapathy Vijay's Beast at the box office.

Bollywood actress Mandana Karimi, hailing from Iran, who has made her presence felt on the show is the latest to have come up with a big secret of hers.

As you know, so far, Poonam Pandey has gone on to speak about her personal life and what exactly happened in her marriage to Sam Bombay.
Tehseen Poonawalla himself came up with another crazy revelation of how he spent a night with the wife of one of India's biggest industrialists on his request.
Now, Mandana has come out and revealed how her ex-husband cheated on her during their marriage.

In what seems like a tragic story that would break anyone, the Iranian actress revealed how her ex slept with 'everyone she knew'.

Speaking about her marriage on the show, she said:
"We were dating each other for two and a half years and then got engaged. We were engaged for 7-8 months and then got married, which was a court marriage. We lived together for eight months, and then it was just not good. We were then separated for four years. We got divorced recently in 2021. He pretended as though I didn't even exist."

"In these four years of separation, he slept with whoever I knew."

When asked whether her husband slept with any of her friends, the actress replied, "I don't have friends."
The explosive revelation comes days after Mandana accused fellow contestant Ali Merchant of masturbating on the show.

There have been strong rumours going around the highly-anticipated wedding of Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt. While some reports claim the wedding will be on April 17, according to others, the functions will be on April 13,14 & 15.
However, recently, when Ranbir’s mother Neetu was asked when is she bringing her daughter-in-law home, she had gestured, “God Knows”.
    © BCCL
On the other hand, when Ranbir’s uncle and yesteryear actor Randhir Kapoor was asked about the same, he had quashed the rumours saying he isn’t aware of anything and if there was a wedding to take place in his family, he’d have been aware of it.

Despite the 'will they/won’t they' discussions, people in the media and on social media have gone into overdrive and “#RanbirAliaWedding” is one of the top trends on Twitter.
Amid the strong wedding rumours, several older videos of the couple have now gone viral.
In one of the videos from 2012, Alia is seen promoting her debut movie Student of the Year & expresses her love for Ranbir even then.
In the video, she goes on to say that Ranbir is her biggest crush and will remain her biggest crush forever.
She said, “I have always loved Ranbir, and I love him even more after Barfi. So, he is my biggest crush and he will always remain my biggest crush.”

In another video from 2018, Alia can be seen recalling the time when she was 11-year-old & met Ranbir for the first time at Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office who was assisting him in Black.
The actress reveals that she had been crushing on Ranbir since the time when none of them were actors.

Alia and Ranbir only made their relationship official in 2018 but she had been in love with him for over a decade before that.

Just as there are steps that you follow when you’re falling in love with someone - from talking once in a while to texting all day, going out, sharing secrets, having some of your own and so on and so forth, there are also steps that come into the picture when you’re falling out of love.
Like the distance, the separation and in today’s day and age - abandoning your ex on social media because ‘out of sight, out of mind’ works like a charm. A process we saw came into the picture recently after South superstar couple - Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya parted their ways.
    View this post on Instagram
The couple had tied the knot back in 2017, however, announced their divorce last year in 2021 via a joint statement on social media.
Since then, there hasn’t been much communication between the two, and Samantha also recently unfollowed her ex-husband on Instagram.
But what caught our eye today was how, ever since the separation, it was the first time that South actress Samantha put out a picture with her ex Naga Chaitanya on her social media, leaving fans stunned.
    View this post on Instagram
Marking the 3 year anniversary of her film Majili which was released back in 2019, the picture posted by Samantha had a solo photo of her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya posing in the role of ‘Poorna Chandar Rao’.
In the backdrop, two other images were featured, wherein the actor was romantically posing with Samantha.
She captioned the image with the hashtag #3yearsformajili and fans wondered whether it meant something other than just a throwback.
While people wished for the two to reconcile, the hope seems lost after Samantha unfollowed Chaitanya and even posted a cryptic quote on Instagram that read, “Sometimes, the strength within isn't a big fiery flame for all to see. Sometimes, it's just a tiny spark that whispers ever so softly ‘keep going, you got this.’”
    View this post on Instagram
On the work front, both Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have their movies coming up - Yashoda and Laal Singh Chadha, respectively.
Turns out, their movies will clash at the box office.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) secured their second consecutive win in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) thanks to a special counter-attacking knock by Dinesh Karthik.

RCB were reeling at 87 for five while chasing 170 but Karthik put on a show and scored 44 runs off just 23 balls to take his side over the line.
The wicket-keeper batter calmly put the bad balls away and shifted the pressure back on Rajasthan Royals. The way the 36-year-old finished the game reminded many fans of another wicket-keeper batter who dominated world cricket for a long time -- MS Dhoni.

    — DK (@DineshKarthik) April 6, 2022 After the match, Karthik even spoke like Dhoni.
After a disastrous 2020 IPL season, the former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper had squashed the rumours of that being his last year in the IPL with a two-word reply -- Definitely Not.
Similarly, Karthik too said that he is not finished yet. "I made a conscious effort this year to do justice to myself because the last year, I felt I could have done better. The way I trained was much better this time around. Credit to the person who trained with me. I'm making a conscious effort to tell myself that I'm not done yet," Karthik had said at the post-match presentation.

A few fans compared Karthik with Dhoni and even went on to say that the RCB batter is a better finisher than the former India captain.

    — Abhishek ︎ (@ImAbhishek7_) April 5, 2022While Dhoni started the 15th edition of the IPL with an unbeaten fifty and played a cameo in the following game, his extra cautious approach in the defeat against Punjab Kings was heavily criticised by fans.
On the other hand, Karthik has been in sublime touch. He has played three innings and scored 90 runs at a strike rate of over 204 and is yet to be dismissed.
Karthik's form might work in his favour and if he continues his purple patch with the bat, he may travel with the Men in Blue to Australia for the T20 World Cup later this year.

The 36-year-old had missed out on the last T20 World Cup that was played in 2021 in the UAE where India failed to make it to the semis.
A rejuvenated and hungry Dinesh Karthik could be the finisher India have missed in crucial stages in the knockout matches in recent years.

It's been a while since we could think of the good times.

I mean, before the Covid-19 pandemic, before the stresses of working on your laptops all the time or witnessing wars in the world, there were better times when we'd just sit and watch good Television shows from the comfort of our homes.
    Remember Cartoon Network and Pogo?
    © Pogo
Those really were the days when there'd be so many good shows to choose from, ones which would give out all good and happy vibes.

Well, one such show was Takeshi's Castle, voiced by Bollywood's own iconic actor and comedian Javed Jaaferi.
    © Pogo
The show was a laughter fest with Jaaferi's commentary being at the heart of everything.

You'd just need to watch the crazy show and its contestants battle it out playing weird games, all with the backdrop of Jaaved's immaculate comic timing.
    Those were the days!
Unfortunately, time passed, we grew up and there wasn't any Takeshi's Castle no more!
    Well, till now.
Prime Video just announced a reboot for the Japanese show recently, and guess what? It looks like Jaaved himself will be returning back to host it again.
The best news I have heard today

Can't keep calm because my childhood is back

I'm gonna binge watch it for sure #TakeshisCastle #AmazonPrime pic.twitter.com/oHRIv5ASu4
    — Lohitha (@lohitanaidu) March 31, 2022
While nothing is confirmed yet, Jaaved has teased his return with a special post on Twitter.
    Here! Check it out!
    Hmmmm!!! Kya khayaal ?#TakeshisCastle #OnceMore pic.twitter.com/A4HiEwZ88r
    — Jaaved Jaaferi (@jaavedjaaferi) April 4, 2022
What do you think? It sure looks like he's about to return.
I mean, think about it. India is a big market for TV shows, which means great eyeballs for the show.
And if Prime Video really wants to make use of Indian consumers, then they would know better that Takeshi's Castle without Javed Jaaferi will never amount to anything.
He's the soul of the entire show in India, and we think Prime Video will have talked to him regarding just that.
Hopefully, the news will bring smiles to your faces because believe it or not, this is going to be some trip down memory lane.

We have seen many proposals on a cricket ground, from players to fans asking their partner out with the whole world watching them.

Last year, Indian pacer Deepak Chahar had proposed to his girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj during the IPL and it ended in a sweet moment for him when she said yes to the Chennai Super Kings bowler.
However, not all proposals end on a sweet note.
On Tuesday, when Australia were playing their final game of their long tour of Pakistan, a fan’s proposal ended in heartbreak.

The visitors ended the tour with a win and broke a lot of hearts. However, there was one fan on the ground who was left a tad bit more disappointed than others.
During the only T20I in Lahore, a girl was seen holding a placard that read - "If Pakistan wins, I'll say yes." The camera panned towards her right after Australia won the match and the cameraman also managed to capture a disappointed guy standing right beside the girl.

Fans felt for the guy on social media and came up with hilarious reactions to lighten up the mood.

After Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif and Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar, lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are rumoured to be getting married very soon. As per the latest buzz, the much-in-love couple is expected to tie the knot between 14 and 17 April.
While the Brahmastra duo is yet to officially announce their wedding date, several reports with information about the most-awaited Bollywood wedding are currently doing the rounds.
    View this post on Instagram
Talking about the much-awaited wedding, a source informed India Today, "Both the families have decided the wedding will happen around mid-April. This decision was taken based on Ranbir and Alia’s work commitments and the date picked by the family pandit".
Recently, the names of celebrities who'll be a part of Ranbir-Alia's bachelorette party were revealed. The list includes big names like Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and many more.
    View this post on Instagram
After the bachelorette party, the guestlist of their Mumbai reception is out now. According to reports, the couple's wedding reception is likely to take place towards the end of April and several well-known Bollywood celebrities are expected to attend it. Interestingly, an invitation has also been sent to one of Ranbir's ex-girlfriends.
Well, we're talking about Deepika Padukone. Sharing details about Ranbir and Alia's reception, the source added, "Ranbir and Alia's wedding reception will be a lavish affair. Bollywood celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Ayan Mukerji, Aditya Roy Kapur, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar have been invited to Ranbir and Alia's reception".

Interestingly, both Alia and Ranbir had skipped Ranveer and Deepika's wedding reception in 2018, despite getting an invitation. Back then, reports suggested that both of them were busy shooting for Brahmastra.
Talking about Ranbir's absence from her reception, in an interview at that time, Deepika said, "We’ve not spoken. I mean, we spoke before the reception but we have not spoken after. But, that’s him. I’m not surprised at all. But, that’s the relationship we share and that’s the beauty of that relationship; so much is said without saying much at all".
For the unversed, Ranbir and Deepika started dating during their Bachna Ae Haseeno days and were together for a few years. However, they parted ways due to the actor's closeness with Katrina Kaif. Later, Deepika revealed that Ranbir was cheating on her. Ranbir too had confirmed that he had cheated out of immaturity.
However, they remained cordial after their breakup and teamed up for films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha.

Celebrities earn a bomb and often splurge their hard-earned money on luxury items, rare artefacts and eclectic things of their choice.

While we get the deets on what outfits they have in their closets, the watches they wear and the swanky cars they own, there’s one thing that adds to their star personality but isn’t really seen. It’s their favourite fragrance.
    © Instagram/Hardik Pandya
Celebrities obviously smell great whenever they are out and about on a shoot, walking the red carpet or attending parties and events, courtesy of their signature scent. They have the best perfumes that they carefully pick, swear by and wear in their everyday life.

In case you have ever wondered what perfumes these stars wear, we have all the details, thanks to an insightful (and helpful) series of Instagram stories by Diet Sabya. Take a look:
    1. Ranveer SinghYou just know that when Singh walks the red carpet, he is smelling like luxury.
Well, the actor confessed to crushing over Atkinsons Oud Save The Queen currently, which costs a whopping Rs 15K for a 100 ml bottle and is for women, BTW.
Oud or agarwood fragrance is a heady scent from the Middle East and is a strong and intense smell.
In case you’re looking for an inexpensive oud fragrance for men, here is a good one.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3165__
    2. Shahid KapoorThe Kabir Singh actor exudes charm and mystery and has impeccable taste in style and the fragrance he wears as well.
We say this because he wears Creed Boutique Green Irish Tweed which is a favourite of many other celebs like Karan Tacker as well. It costs over 24K in INR.
    3. Hardik Pandya © Instagram/Hardik Pandya
Being a sportsperson, carrying a nice fragrance with you is nothing but good manners and Pandya knows it. You’d be glad to know that his favourite scent doesn’t cost a bomb.

It’s a bottle of Villain Hydra (Eau De Parfum) Perfume which he wears after a good swim sesh to feel refreshed and nice, while he wears Villain (Eau De Parfum) Perfume when he’s out for an event and wants to smell divine.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3164__
    4. Rahul KhannaRahul Khanna is one of the most attractive men in Bollywood whose persona and style is simply effortless. The man can wear a sack and look cool.
However, there is one thing he actually puts in effort for–smelling great. He has been wearing a spritz of Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt for quite some time now.
    5. Arjun Kapoor The actor spends his big bucks on all things luxury be it clothes, shoes and cars and the fragrance he wears is no less. He wears Tom Ford Ombré Leather which costs Rs12000.
The leather fragrance can be used by both men and women.
There you go. Now, you can smell like these stars too.

I am a conversationalist by nature. Put me in a room of people and I’ll come out having made conversation with even the most reluctant people.

However, there will always be a few topics that would be sensitive and require me to tread carefully. In fact, not just me, but almost everyone because the nature of a few topics in discussion is far more sensitive than others.
    Like talking about ‘rape’.

Having not paid heed to the advice, an Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) professor has landed himself in major legal trouble after he casually made ‘mythical references’ to rape in a PowerPoint presentation.
Aligarh Muslim University has a zero-tolerance policy. Dr Jitendra Kumar of the Faculty of Medicine was talking about rape in his presentation while teaching the MBBS Forensic medicine class in AMU, when he laid out a slide that was not just deemed offensive, it was called out for ‘hurting religious sentiments’.
A screenshot of the presentation was soon shared on social media, following which several people (including students) have condemned the professor and his alleged attempt at ‘demeaning Hindu gods and culture’.

The professor since then has been asked to submit his reply on the matter by the faculty within 24 hours and has also issued an apology as noted by the AMU.

A two-member inquiry committee has also been formed by the university at the suggestion of the Dean Faculty of Medicine, Professor Rakesh Bhargava, who seeks to look further into the matter.
It has been promised that proper steps shall be taken so such an instance is never repeated in the future.

    — Jyoti B. - SSRF (@jyotibhargav7) April 5, 2022Meanwhile, people on the micro-blogging site are unimpressed by the mention of quotes like ‘story of Brahma raping her daughter’ in the slide and are dropping comments like, “A criminal case must be filed against the wrongdoer under section 295A of the IPC.”
While another wrote, “Is this what they teach at AMU? Amazing government we have and amazing tolerance or rather don't care attitude of Indian citizens.”
BTW, they would never use their own examples of many heinous acts in their history in fear of being beheaded / stoned to death on street! Only one faith that allows free speech because we allow to be questioned so we can clear any doubts which other faiths don't even allow!

    — iamrajahindustani (@iamrajahindust1) April 5, 2022A few even came to defend the claims that the presentation made as they commented, “Saraswati was a creation and not his daughter. If i tomorrow build a cyborg will it become my daughter? Is my female AI chatbot i built my daughter? So Brahma marrying Saraswati was totally legit.”
