After a long wait, fans finally got to witness the trailer of Vijay’s upcoming film Beast directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.  

Besides releasing in Tamil, the film will also be dubbed in other Indian languages like Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam & Hindi with the title Raw. 

Soon after the trailer was launched, a few eagle-eyed fans spotted Shah Rukh Khan in it at the 00:59 sec timestamp.

The SRK reference in the Beast trailer was actually his picture on a cupboard in the backdrop as Vijay’s character takes on a goon. 

Sharing the screenshot of the same, one fan wrote, “How others watch #BeastTrailer vs How SRKians watch it”. 

A few other fans considered it a sign of Shah Rukh Khan’s collaboration with Vijay’s frequent collaborator Atlee, ”#ShahRukhKhan Refrence In #ThalapathyVijay s #Beast Trailer It's A Sign Of #Atlee & #SRK Collab #Lion Announcement Soon”. 

Another wrote, “ShahRukh Khan's reference in #Beast trailer. Seems like it is a hint for Srk-Atlee”. 

One fan wondered if it’s a hint at SRK & Atlee cameo in Beast, which to be honest seems unlikely, “SRK reference in Beast trailer Atlee-srk cameo confirmed”.

A day after the trailer release, Shah Rukh Khan too took to Twitter and praised Vijay’s film. He wrote, “Sitting with 

@Atlee_dir who is as big a fan of @actorvijay as I am. Wishing the best for beast to the whole team…trailer looks meaner…. Leaner… stronger!!” 

Atlee responded to the tweet saying, “Ennoda annae Ennoda thalapathy @actorvijay anna #beast #beastmode from April 13th Thank you for the lovely wishes @iamsrk sir it means a lot to us thank you love u sir”.
