    It’s been over a week since the IPL 2022 mega auction got over. While most fans are rejoicing about the new players that their favourite franchises have bought ahead of the 15th edition of the tournament, Chennai Super Kings supporters are withering in pain over the departure of their star cricketer Suresh Raina.
    The ‘Yellove Army’ is still finding it hard to come to terms with the fact that their ‘Chinna Thalla’ won’t be part of their setup anymore.

    A week has gone by but many are still finding it hard to digest that a player who dominated the IPL like no one else for over a decade and earned the tag of ‘Mr IPL’ through his consistent performances found no buyers in the auction.
    Ever since the auction ended, the four-time champions have been receiving a lot of flak for various reasons, which includes ignoring one of the biggest superstars. This outrage was witnessed once again when the defending champions posted a heartfelt video tribute for the southpaw, highlighting his contributions to the CSK in IPL, in general.

    The video was supposed to make CSK fans happy but it ended up riling them even further and they started bashing the franchise on the micro-blogging site for not giving the legend the due he deserved.
    Some of the angry fans once again raised the fact that the franchise managed to save Rs 2.95 crore of their auction purse but didn’t spend it on acquiring their champion player and were now showing “fake sympathy”.

    When we talk about celebrities living the glamorous and rich life, we often skip only to the good parts. The fame, the popularity, the love and the exciting TV appearances, that make you wonder what living life under all that limelight is really like.
    But what we get blinded to, is the other side to it, which isn’t as ideal as it seems. The trolling being one, for instance.

    BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover who recently appeared on the reality show Shark Tank India, was one of the most talked-about ‘sharks’ on the panel, and for good reason at that. 

    His unabashed and unfiltered self didn’t just inspire a lot of memes on the internet but also, sadly, ended up instigating trolls who had nothing better to do than bring him down.

    In a chat with popular comedians Rohan Joshi and Sahil Shah for Rohan's YouTube channel, Ashneer was asked about the setbacks that he faced after appearing on the show as a ‘Shark’. To which Ashneer replied, "Bahut gaali padti hai. Abhi bhi raat ko chhup chhup kar main 3 baje uth kar gande comments to delete maarta hoon (I get abused a lot. Even now, I get up at 3 am and sneakily delete abusive comments from my social media)."

    And considering how relentless trolls can be in the comments section, especially to Ashneer who was popularly liked and disliked for his crude feedback to contestants, we can understand his plight.

    He further went on to share, “I block them also and even select the option 'not only this person but any account they create in the future'.” And for those who think that handling fame came naturally to him, were wrong.

    In Mumbai’s Versova, stands a stunning white bungalow that belongs to Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. 
    The actor has come a long way from doing small roles and sharing a small apartment with three other struggling actors to becoming one of the most bankable stars who now owns a house in the city of dreams.

    He recently opened up about what his early days in Mumbai looked like when he shared a small space with a bunch of other men. And, it’s nothing but a testimony of how he’s made it big. “Aaj jitna bada mera personal bathroom hai, utna sa mera ghar hua karta tha (Today my bathroom is as big as the house I once lived in),” he recalled in an interview with Bombay Times.

    He said, “When I moved to Mumbai, I stayed in such a small place, which I shared with four other budding actors. Woh kamra itna chhota tha ki agar main door kholu toh kisi ke pairon mein lag jata tha (That room was so small that if you opened the door, it hit someone's feet), because, we all used to lay our beds on the floor when we slept there. Dheere dheere (Gradually, with time), I started sharing my room with three people, then with two, and it is only from 2005 that I started living alone.”

    Siddiqui named his bungalow ‘Nawab’ after his father’s name to honour him but he, unfortunately, passed away before he could see the lavish house his son had built. 

    He said, “Unka mann Mumbai ke ghar mein nahi lagta tha (He didn't like the flats of Mumbai). So, I always had this thing in my mind that I would get him to a bigger place in Mumbai one day, but he passed away before that. I wish my dad could see this bungalow.”

    He didn’t even intend on building the house that he owns today. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he said, "To tell you the truth, I didn’t consciously plan that I want a new house. Ghar hona chahiye — iss concept mein mera belief hi nahi tha (I didn't have belief in the concept that one should have a house). Someone showed me the plot, so I thought let’s do it no harm. Things kept happening.”

    The fact that he came all the way from living in a cramped space to building his own villa in a posh locality in Mumbai speaks of his success. However, what’s more inspirational and commendable is that he has not forgotten the time he was just an aspiring actor and now looks back at the struggling time, sitting in his grandeur bungalow.

    Wriddhiman Saha has decided that he won’t be revealing the names of the journalist who threatened him for not agreeing to give him an exclusive interview after he was dropped from the Indian Test team.
    The veteran wicket-keeper had recently shared screenshots of disturbing WhatsApp messages that he received from a ‘so-called respected journalist’ who rather than requesting tried to coerce him into giving an exclusive interview.

    Saha’s tweet had left everyone speechless and the 37-year-old veteran received an outpouring of support from fans and cricket experts. From Virender Sehwag to Harbhajan Singh to Ravi Shastri, everyone came out in support of the West Bengal keeper and urged the BCCI to get to the bottom of the matter and punish the culprit.
    Former head coach Ravi Shastri went as far as saying that this mistreatment of Saha was not a one-off treatment and this had been happening to the Indian team “too frequently”, He added that it was time for the BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly to act and expose the name of the journalist in the interest of every cricketer.

    A report published in The Times of India, claimed that the BCCI was already looking into the matter and it would approach Saha to explain the matter in full detail and also reveal the name.
    After this news came out, people started thinking it is only a matter of time till the identity of the ‘respected scribe’ is revealed in front of the whole world.

    But it won’t be the case anymore as the 40-Test veteran has taken a different stance on all this matter and decided not to reveal the name of the journalist. Explaining the rationale behind his decision, he said it was never his intention to “harm somebody’s career” or to “pull a person down”.
    “I haven’t received any communication from the BCCI yet. If they ask me to reveal the name (of the journalist), I would tell them it was never my intention to harm somebody’s career, to pull a person down. That’s why I didn’t reveal the name in my tweet,” Saha told The Indian Express.

    Saha may have his own reasons as to why he didn’t want to expose the identity of the journalist. But now people who were lauding him for not sitting silent and revealing the mistreatment are now feeling cheated.
    The fans are disappointed and they are now questioning what was the need of putting out the screenshots if he didn’t want to take the matter any further.
    Then you shouldn't have created this mess ig . You took Dravids name , selectors name but can't take the name of a journalist?

    The first season of Shark Tank India became a topic of discussion on social media and turned out to be a major success. 
    Besides the seven sharks who appeared on the show, its host Rannvijay Singh Singha too found himself being talked about on social media. 
    Mostly, he was the butt of jokes as there were many who wondered about his role in a show that is all about entrepreneurs. 
    Moreover, a video of Rannvijay from the show had also gone viral where he was seen offering an MBA course to an IIT-PhD graduate. No points in guessing, the star host and actor was brutally trolled.

    Singh has now finally reacted to the memes that were made on him during his tenure as Shark Tank India host.  
    While talking to ETimes, Rannvijay explained the reason behind offering an MBA course to the IIT-PhD graduate and also why he is fine with the memes and spoofs. 
    He said, “I’ve done Splitsvilla and Roadies and by now, I am used to memes, spoofs. The amount and the level of spoofs that were done on us, people can’t even imagine. In fact, some of them actually made a platform out of it. The first spoof that was made on us by a streaming platform, gave that platform recognition. I know this as I like to keep myself current. When Michael Jordan cried they made memes on it, he became current. He is the guy who I follow for many reasons. When a meme is made on you it means you are doing something which is getting noticed and you are current. I know that it is my job as a host on that show and I’ve to do it. I am not there to judge that if you have three other degrees, I should give you this or I shouldn't. 
    "As per the concept of the show, it is the Sharks who decide that you should be given this. Another point is that there are many engineers, who also do an MBA, it is not connected but it’s because they want to cover all their bases. You can do an MBA or engineering from the biggest institutes but you might not know a lot about digital marketing. There’s a possibility. Like I don’t know anything about the law but if someone offers me a law degree I would love to do it. Because I want to know the contracts I am getting into. I always think that law is one thing that I’d always wanted to do. A person who is well educated, that person will always understand the value of an extra degree or education.”

    Further talking about why memes on a show are a good thing, he said, “It’s actually funny. I won't deny that somebody is from IIT, you are giving them a course in something else. Meme means that people are so involved in the show and they are watching the show and know everything about that person. I like that factor and it keeps me current. It’s giving me an opportunity for the media to ask me a question and express myself. 

    Further stating how he has absolutely no qualms about the memes on him being spread, Ranvijay further said, "people found that moment funny and meme-worthy and I don’t feel bad about it because I’ve seen a lot during the early stage of my career when I was 20-23 and had just started doing Roadies. People were trying to ban the shows we were doing, people wouldn’t allow the auditions of our shows in the city to happen. Memes are the best thing that can happen to a new show, that's what I feel. Because other people who don’t watch the show, they get their attention as well towards our show. I feel once you start taking jokes on yourself, you can lead a very peaceful life. I love watching the amount of creativity that people put in while creating these memes.”

    Cricket is known to be a gentleman's game but sometimes, in the heat of the moment, players tend to lose their cool and do things that they regret later. 

    A similar incident was seen on Monday (February 21, 2022) when Pakistan fast-bowler Haris Rauf slapped his teammate Kamran Ghulam after dismissing Mohammad Haris during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars. 
    Kamran Ghulam had dropped Hazratullah Zazai earlier in the match off Haris Rauf's bowling. However, in the same over, Rauf managed to provide the breakthrough for his team as he sent back Mohammad Haris.

On further investigation by the paparazzi, it was revealed that it is actress and singer Saba Azad.

    Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna worked together for the first time in the 2018 Telugu film Geetha Govindam. The film turned out to be a huge hit at the box office and the audience showered love on the pairing of the two young stars.

    Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is among the most popular South Indian celebrities, is also known for giving it back to trollers like a pro. After unveiling the first look poster of her upcoming pan-India release Shakuntalam yesterday, the actress conducted an 'Ask Me Anything' session with her Instagram followers. During the session, she even replied to a troller's sleazy question like a savage queen.

    She started it by posting an Instagram story that read, "Ask me anything? Well, not anything. Only the questions I would like to answer".

    During the Instagram session, a user asked, "Have you reproduced cuz I wanna reproduce u (sic)". Well, Samantha isn't the one who'll ignore such comments. As expected, she gave it back to the troller in an epic way. Schooling the Instagram user, she replied, "How to use 'reproduce' in a sentence. Should have googled that first?"

    When another person asked where she gets ‘this much courage’ to do the things, Samantha replied, "In the face of great adversity comes great courage". On being asked if she would like to direct a film in the future, the Jaanu star said, "I’ve learnt lately to never say never".
