Ankita Lokhande, who tied the knot with beau Vicky Jain on December 14 last year, is enjoying marital bliss. The couple exchanged wedding vows in a grand and traditional ceremony in Mumbai's Grand Hyatt in the presence of their families and close friends. After getting hitched, the lovebirds are all set to be a part of their first reality show together as husband and wife.
    View this post on Instagram
Ankita and Vicky are a part of Star Plus' much-awaited reality show Smart Jodi which is all set to premiere on February 26. On the official social media handle of Star Plus, the makers have shared a promo featuring the newly-married couple.
In the clip, Ankita is seen gushing about her bond with husband Vicky saying that 'no one has loved me like he does'. She says, "I was going through a very bad phase. Every girl wants a partner who will be with her through every good and bad times. When I really wanted Vicky, He proved that he is there. I used to think what is love? I would visualize it in my own way. But because of Vicky, I saw a different definition of love. The way he loves me, nobody else has".
    Watch the promo here:

While Ankita fans loved the promo and filled the comment section with heart emojis, a section of social media users connected it to Sushant Singh Rajput, like always. A user wrote, "Absolutely wrong archana Mam Hum nhi maante theek hai lekin pahle ek baar bolne se pahle pichhe thora dekh to lo mam". Another Instagram user commented, "hmm hum dekha, Sushant jab apko choda, apki bohut emotional breakdown howa tha, anyway be happy". A third comment read, "What about Sushant Singh Rajput".
Take a look at the reactions below:

We wonder how Ankita would react to it. Trolling culture has taken over social media and it is high time to end it. Well, people should now move on and let Ankita live her life peacefully.

For the unversed, Ankita was earlier in a serious relationship with her Pavitra Rishta co-star and late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. After dating for around six years, the duo parted ways in 2016 and moved on in their lives.
On June 14, 2020, the Kai Po Che star was found dead, hanging from the ceiling fan at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. The news shocked the entire country. While the cause of death was ruled to have been suicide, there were widespread rumours about some foul play in his untimely death. Sushant fans even blamed his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty for his death. Ankita too often gets targeted by social media users for some or the other reason in connection with Sushant.
Coming back to Smart Jodi, the show also has other popular couples like Bhagyashree-Himalaya Dasani, Aishwarya Sharma-Neil Bhatt, Rahul Mahajan-Natalya, and Monalisa-Vikrant as participants.

A couple of days ago, Wriddhiman Saha shook the whole cricket community in India when he posted screenshots of threat messages he received from a “respected journalist”, who tried to bully him after the cricketer had refused to give him a one-on-one interview.
After all of my contributions to Indian cricket..this is what I face from a so called “Respected” journalist! This is where the journalism has gone. pic.twitter.com/woVyq1sOZX
    — Wriddhiman Saha (@Wriddhipops) February 19, 2022
After that post, Saha received an outpouring of support from cricket enthusiasts in the country, fans and cricket experts alike. While praising the veteran keeper for calling out the journalist for his misbehaviour, everyone began urging Saha to reveal the identity of the scribe, not just for himself but for the sake of all the cricketers.
To their disappointment, the 37-year-old wicket-keeper has decided not to reveal the name of the said individual on the “grounds of humanity” and for the sake of his/her family. The veteran of 40 Tests said it’s against his nature to “harm anyone” and put an end to “someone’s career”.
1/3- I was hurt and offended. I thought not to tolerate such kind of behaviour and didn’t want anyone to go through these kind of bullying. I decided I will go out and expose the chat in public eye, but not his/her name
    — Wriddhiman Saha (@Wriddhipops) February 22, 20223/3- I thank each and everyone who has shown support and extended their willingness to help. My gratitude.

“My nature isn’t such that I will harm anyone to the extent of ending someone’s career. So on grounds of humanity looking at his/her family, I am not exposing the name for the time being. But if any such repetition happens, I will not hold back. I thank each and everyone who has shown support and extended their willingness to help. My gratitude,” he added.

Disappointed with Saha’s decision to conceal the full truth, several former India cricketers, who had lent their support to the West Bengal player, were left frustrated.

Former India opener Virender Sehwag praised Saha for his generous nature but for the sake of other players urged him to reconsider his decision so that no other cricketer has to face what he did in the future.
The former batter, who is known for his wit and humour, ended his tweet by giving him an easy advice on how to reveal the name of the journalist.
Dear Wriddhi, it's not your nature to harm others and you are a wonderful guy. But to prevent such harm from happening to anyone else in the future , it's important for you to name him.

While Sehwag posted a light-hearted tweet, former India fast bowler Venkastesh Prasad seemed really upset with Saha for concealing the identity of the person who threatened him.

The former India bowling coach schooled the wicket-keeper using a popular verse from Bhagavad Gita and reminded him that by hiding the full truth he was not setting the right example.
There is a verse in the Bhagvad Gita which translates to-
"Tolerating injustice is as much a crime as committing injustice. It Is Your Duty To Fight Injustice."

It is important for Wriddhiman Saha to name this person. It will definitely set a good example. https://t.co/IBteuhiotS

Not just former cricketers, even the fans are upset with Saha for hiding the name of the journalist using family values as an excuse.

Some angry supporters are also accusing him of being the equal culprit and are describing his tweet as nothing more than a tool for gaining sympathy after he was dropped from the Indian team.

Following his decision not to reveal the identity of the journalist, the people who were standing behind Saha have now turned against him. But you can’t blame them. Can you?

One of the most popular Indian cricketers, especially in Test cricket, Mayank Agarwal talks about Rohit Sharma becoming the next red-ball captain of the Men in Blue and shares how it was playing in the longest format of the game under the leadership of Virat Kohli in an exclusive interview with MensXP.
Over the weekend, Rohit Sharma was named the captain of the Indian Test cricket team and will be leading the squad against the touring Sri Lankan side in the two-match Test series starting on March 4, 2022.

    — Mumbai Indians (@mipaltan) February 19, 2022
The former red-ball skipper of the team, Virat Kohli announced stepping down from the role a day after losing the three-match Test series in South Africa and surprised a lot of people with his decision. Between November 2021 and January 2022, Kohli, who led the Indian team as the captain in all formats of the game, either quit or was sacked from each of them.
However, he is still considered to be the most successful red-ball captain Indian cricket has ever seen. Mayank Agarwal, who made his international debut under skipper Kohli, expressed his respect for the senior batter.

“When it comes to captaincy, different captains have different methods, you know, and each has their own strength. We've seen what Virat has done for Indian cricket, and especially in Test cricket as the captain and what the team achieved under him was fantastic,” Agarwal said.
Talking about the BCCI’s decision to make Rohit Sharma the successor to Kohli, he added: “It's a huge honour to captain your country, especially in Test cricket. I am really happy for (Rohit Sharma), having played with him, and having been part of the white-ball setup under him. He is somebody who keeps talking to everybody and we all are excited and looking forward to playing under him.”

Not too long ago, there was a time when Sharma was believed to be purely a white-ball cricketer. Haters and critics used to frown upon his aggressive batting ways and presumed that he lacked the patience or the mental strength to play long innings - a fundamental of red-ball cricket.
Within just a couple of years, Sharma has not only proven that he can play and thrive in all formats, he has also positioned himself so strongly that he was not crowned the Indian skipper. To his meteoric rise in Test cricket Agarwal said:
“You can't really write somebody off. A person of his calibre… it's not fair to write him off. The moment he got an opportunity to open the innings, he's really put in those performances, some terrific performances that put India in great positions upfront. So credit to him.”

Wriddhiman Saha took to Twitter on Tuesday to reveal the reason behind him not naming the journalist who threatened him with unsettling remarks after the India wicketkeeper-batter refused to give an interview to the unnamed 'respected journalist.' In a series of tweets, Saha said he had shared the screenshot of his chat with the journalist because he was 'hurt and offended' but he decided against naming him as he 'didn't want to end someone's career.'
"My nature isnt such that I will harm anyone to the extent of ending someone’s career. So on grounds of humanity looking at his/her family, I am not exposing the name for the time being. But if any such repetition happens, I will not hold back," Saha wrote in one of his tweets.

Saha received outpouring support from the cricketing fraternity and fans when he said that a 'so-called journalist' pressurised him to give an interview to him after the wicket-keeper was dropped from the Indian Test team.
When the 37-year-old changed his mind and said that he will not expose the name of the journalist on 'grounds of humanity', the same supporters turned rogue against wicket-keeper and called him out for gaining sympathy and being selfish.

    — Viraj (@vjv02) February 22, 2022With due respect , this is a very bad decision ( even if taken under pressure ) . Tolerating injustice is also injustice . It could have been a lesson for this kind of people to not act like this in future . This decision will make sure that everything stays same as it is .

    — Sumanth G K (@sumanthgowda186) February 22, 2022After Saha's revelation about the worrying texts from a journo, the likes of Virender Sehwag and former India head coach Ravi Shastri came out in support of the veteran cricketer.
Shastri even went on to say that this is not something new and such instances of a journalist bullying an international cricketer is happening too frequently in Indian cricket. The former coach had even urged the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly to step in and clear the mess.
Shocking a player being threatened by a journo. Blatant position abuse. Something that's happening too frequently with #TeamIndia. Time for the BCCI PREZ to dive in. Find out who the person is in the interest of every cricketer. This is serious coming from ultimate team man WS https://t.co/gaRyfYVCrs
    — Ravi Shastri (@RaviShastriOfc) February 20, 2022
To reveal the identity of the journalist or not is completely Saha's choice and no one should judge him for his actions. However, the timing of everything has raised a few eyebrows and it will be difficult for him to get back the support of fans and cricketing fraternity  unless he decides to name the journalist who tried to use his power in the Indian board and threatened a seasoned campaigner like Saha.

Call me biased (or a dog lover), but the kind of love you experience when you have a dog is unlike any other. The meaning of loyalty, true love and selflessness that we had in our minds all becomes subject to change when you adopt a dog (or any animal for that matter) because it is then, when you realize how you don’t need words to put across a thousand emotions.
And reciprocating that same sentiment were a bunch of people in a Mumbai neighborhood, who all gathered to celebrate and cherish the return of their street dog, who had gone missing for over a week.
Guys, this is where you pull out your tissues.
    View this post on Instagram
The video that was shared on Instagram by the user @tedthestoner shows the return of a beloved street dog in a taxi while people from that neighborhood gathered around to welcome him with open arms, joyful hooting and lots of hugs. The caption for the post was, “A befitting gesture for everyone's best friend, Whiskey.” And it indeed, was.

    © Twitter
‘Whiskey’, as the people from the locality had named the dog, wags his tail and flops around from person to person, ready to greet him and pet him. His entry was no less than that of a superstar and if anything, it was far more wholesome to watch than anything we’ve seen all week.

    © Twitter
The video that was posted only one day ago has now garnered over 48 thousand likes, with several users dropping comments like, “Enough to make a grown man happy,” and “At a time where people fights each other in the name of caste, religion, gender etc it's heartwarming to see everyone get together to celebrate our best friend.”

    © Twitter
People are wishing more neighborhoods would be like this, appreciating the simpler things in life, and we agree. In fact one user even wrote, “Where is this colony.. i wanna live here,” and we’d be lying if we didn’t admit to wondering the same thing.

Well, the photos prove that hard work pays off and Nawazuddin totally deserves it.
The Babumoshai Bandookbaaz star, who started with small roles and shared a small apartment with three other strugglers, has indeed come a long way in Bollywood. Talking about his early days in Mumbai, in an interview, he recently said, "Aaj jitna bada mera personal bathroom hai, utna sa mera ghar hua karta tha (Today my bathroom is as big as the house I once lived in)".
He added, "When I moved to Mumbai, I stayed in such a small place, which I shared with four other budding actors. Woh kamra itna chhota tha ki agar main door kholu toh kisi ke pairon mein lag jata tha (That room was so small that if you opened the door, it hit someone's feet), because, we all used to lay our beds on the floor when we slept there. Dheere dheere (Gradually, with time), I started sharing my room with three people, then with two, and it is only from 2005 that I started living alone".

Indian cricketer and one of the leading members of the Punjab Kings franchise, Mayank Agarwal has opened up about his expectations of becoming the captain of his Indian Premier League team in an exclusive interview with MensXP.
Following the disappointing end to their IPL 2021 season, when Punjab Kings decided against retaining KL Rahul and secured Agarwal as the only capped player to be a part of their franchise during the 2022 season, all eyes were on the latter to become the next captain.
    View this post on Instagram
After all, he looked in top form, scored a total of 441 runs in the 12 matches he played with an average of 40.9, and an amazing strike rate of 140.44 throughout the season. He smashed 4 half-centuries and missed out on getting a ton by just one run during his unbeaten inning against Delhi Capitals in a loss.
And then came the IPL 2022 mega auction which created a lot more confusion around the future of the PBKS leadership than there was before. Although the decision-makers made some excellent picks during the auction and now boast a far better composition of young and experienced players than they did last year, the discussion around Agarwal becoming the next skipper has once again returned to square one.
    View this post on Instagram
While fans and various critics have suggested that since Mayank has the strongest relationship with the team management and has shown great form consistently for the last three seasons, he deserves the position.
However, ever since the auction, multiple reports have spurred all over the Indian cricket fraternity suggesting that Shikhar Dhawan, the veteran batter who was recently purchased for Rs. 8.25 crore, is at the forefront of the race to PBKS captaincy.
    View this post on Instagram
Amid all the confusion, Mayank Agarwal shared his thoughts on the chances of him becoming the next captain in a conversation with MensXP.
“Obviously if I am made the captain, I am totally up and ready for the responsibility but I will do everything that is required of me as a player if demanded. Whether I am made the captain or not, whatever responsibilities are given, whatever will be demanded of me everything will be done from my side,” Agarwal says.
    View this post on Instagram
“I am not too stressed about it. I'm not really thinking about it. If given the opportunity, I'm ready for it and looking forward to taking the responsibility and if not, I'm still looking to give everything that I have and take any role that is given by the franchise,” he adds.
The 2022 season of the Indian Premier League is scheduled to begin on April 2 and will be taking place in India as opposed to the UAE, where the last one and a half seasons happened due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.

The former captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli has been making news in recent months due to a succession of resignations from various captaincy positions. The most recent one came from the Test side, and former India cricketer Saba Karim detailed how Kohli compelled the BCCI to take certain actions while handling this issue.
The Test and T20I squads for India's forthcoming home series against Sri Lanka were revealed last week by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. They also used the occasion to announce Rohit Sharma's appointment as the new permanent skipper in the longest format of the game.
    View this post on Instagram
Karim stated in a video on the YouTube channel Khelneeti that the Indian cricket board had no choice but to put their foot down and make Sharma the Test cricket captain ahead of the Sri Lanka series.
According to Karim, following Virat Kohli's unexpected resignation as Test captain, the BCCI was obliged to alter its split captaincy plans. Kohli was not anticipated to step down as the red-ball leader, and India was forced to name Rohit Sharma as the new skipper across all forms as a result of his resignation.
    View this post on Instagram
Karim added that Sharma is an excellent choice for the leadership post, and the BCCI can develop future players under his tutelage. Giving KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, and Jasprit Bumrah vice-captaincy possibilities demonstrates that the grooming process has already started.
There have been assertions made in the past that one Indian captain would have been under a lot of pressure and that captaincy should be shared across different formats. Then came the announcement of a new all-format captain. There were no other frontrunners for the captaincy, according to Karim, thus the selectors chose Rohit Sharma.
    View this post on Instagram
Following India’s whitewash victories against the touring West Indies team in ODIs and T20Is, Rohit Sharma and the Men in Blue will be looking forward to hosting the Sri Lankan side in a three-match T20I series that will be played in Lucknow and Dharamshala from February 24th onwards. Soon after, the two sides will also be playing a two-match Test series in Mohali and Bengaluru, respectively.
