Even before the shooting of a single scene, the film has reportedly received an insane offer for its post-theatrical rights. Yes, you read that right! Well, the makers are still in talks to finalise the biggest deal for digital and satellite rights in Bollywood.

The source added, "Once signed, this would be the biggest non-theatrical deal of all time with conventional window. Being a comic entertainer, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has fetched great offers from digital world and Salman alongside Akshay Kumar are the only two stars who films have consistently grabbed good television ratings all through their three decade long career. The genre is also known to give rich dividend to digital platforms too".
An official announcement from the makers is still awaited.Β
For the unversed, Salman had got Rs 130 crore for the digital and satellite rights of Bharat, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Back then, the deal turned out to be the highest ever of all time. His Dabangg 3 also fetched in a similar range. Later, amid the pandemic, the digital window for films came down to four weeks and Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi got around Rs. 140 crores for its post-theatrical rights. Now, looks like Salman is all set to create a record with the biggest post-release streaming deal, including an 8-week window for the digital premiere.Β Β

Deepika Padukone-starrer Gehraiyaan, also featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa, premiered on Amazon Prime Video around 10 days back and instantly became the talk of the town. Directed by Kapoor & Sons fame Shakun Batra, the film is getting polarising reactions. While a section of viewers liked the film, others failed to connect with the storyline and didn't like the plot twist in the second half.

Talking about the film, in a recent interview, Shakun has revealed that he received abusive emails, criticising Gehraiyaan. In a conversation with film critic Sucharita Tyagi on her YouTube channel, he said, "I had an e-mail where the subject was B****d (a Hindi cuss word). Then the mail just said, 'B****d picture banani nahi aati hai to kyun banata hai? Kuch aur kar leta (If you don't know how to make a film, why do you? Do something else)".

Later, the filmmakers added that he had also received appreciation for the film. Talking about one such email, he shared, "Then, I had an email from a psychologist in Brisbane who said the psychology of the characters really added up to him. I feel cognitive dissonance. I have made peace with two completely opposing thoughts in my mind. I don't know how it happened. But, I think forget about the movie, it's growth in me to have accepted the polarisation. I think I have grown".
Amidst getting a mixed response from movie buffs, Gehraiyaan is doing well in terms of views and is continuously trending in several countries including India. Recently, Deepika had hosted a success bash for the team. Well, the actress got trolled for throwing a success party despite the film getting mixed reactions.

You must have heard the phrase 'a man with a golden heart' lots of times but Indian cricketer KL Rahul just gave an example of what this phrase truly means in real life.Β

The wicket-keeper batter donated a generous amount of Rs 31 lakh for the treatment of 11-year-old Varad, who is suffering from a rare blood disorder.Β
The young kid needed 35 lakh for his treatment and that is when his father started a fundraiser.Β
As KL Rahul, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, got to know about the kid, he immediately decided to bear the expenses of the treatment and donated Rs 31 lakh.Β

β€” CricTracker (@Cricketracker) February 22, 2022 The kid, who underwent a bone marrow transplant, is said to be recovering well. KL Rahul said he wishes to see Varad get back on his feet and live the dreams he wanted to achieve.Β
β€œWhen I came to know about Varad’s condition, my team got in touch with GiveIndia so that we can help him in any way we could. I am glad that the surgery was successful, and he is doing well. I hope Varad gets back on his feet at the earliest and goes on to achieve his dreams. I hope my contribution inspires more and more people to come forward and help those in need,” KL Rahul was quoted as saying by Insidesport.Β
After the news of KL Rahul's generous donation went viral on social media, fans hailed the noble gesture by the 29-year-old cricketer from Karnataka.Β

β€œWe are thankful to KL Rahul for donating such a large amount for Varad’s surgery. But for him, it would have been impossible to carry out the bone marrow transplant in such a short period of time. Thank you, Rahul,” said Varad’s mother.Β
It is great to see cricketers coming out and helping those who are in need. Last year, Virat Kohli helped a former India cricketer by bearing the expenses of treatment of her mother. These gestures prove that our idols are not only great professionals but also kind-hearted individuals as well.

β€˜Sacrifice’ is one concept that I am often reminded of by my boss, who thinks nothing great in life is ever achieved without giving something up.Β
And while for me, that means extra sleep and a perfect 6/6 vision (considering I am always reading on the screen), for a certain athlete, it meant sacrificing the well-being of his *****!
    Yes, you read that right.

Cross-country skier Remi Lindholm went through something extremely rare and painful while racing in the 50-km mass start event at the Beijing Games.Β
The race that had already been shortened to 30Kms owing to the extreme weather conditions, ended up giving Skier Remi Lindholm a lot more to remember than just skiing.Β
"You can guess which body part was a little bit frozen when I finished (the men's Olympic 50km race) ... it was one of the worst competitions I've been in. It was just about battling through," Lindholm said.
I am told this happens frequently....it's called β€œdick-sickle”I mean who knew???
β€” Deep State Ops (@Deep_State_Ops) February 21, 2022 This information may offend the sensibilities of some people.

And no matter how many protective gears and layers like thin suits, underlayers, as well as plasters to cover their faces and ears that the players had donned, nothing could prevent the icy accident.Β
Remi Lindholm also shared how the real pain kicked in after the heat pack had started un-freezing his *****. He shared, β€œWhen the body parts started to warm up after the finish, the pain was unbearable.”

Reports suggest that a similar incident took place last year in the 2021 competition in Ruka, Finland. Guess, a frozen ***** is not that uncommon, after all!
As far as the race is considered, Remi finished 28th out of 61 participants, but safe to say, his name will go down in history. If not for winning, then for almost losing something extremely valuable!Β

Shaheen Afridi is known for his fierce bowling and his swinging deliveries even troubled the likes of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul last year in the T20 World Cup.Β Β

However, the tall left-handed pacer donned the batter's hat during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) game on Monday and put on an exhibition of big hitting that would even impress the likes of Glenn Maxwell and Chris Gayle.Β
Shaheen, captaining Lahore Qalandars, smashed 39 off 20 deliveries against Peshawar Zalmi and while it won't seem like he did anything extraordinary looking at his numbers.Β
The Southpaw was at his belligerent best as he slammed the ball to all parts of the ground by smashing 23 runs in the final over (including a wide ball) when his team needed 24 for the win.Β

As expected, his heroics with the bat drew a comparison with his soon-to-be father-in-law and a former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi. The 41-year-old had tweeted last year that Shaheen's family had approached his family for his daughter and she is engaged to Shaheen.Β

Lahore, chasing 159 for the win, had lost their sixth wicket with just 94 runs on the board. Shaheen added 35 runs with Mohammad Hafeez for the seventh wicket and then his explosive batting in the final over, took the match into a Super Over.Β
Going down in the history books The final game of our round, and what a game it was! We finally got to witness a super over and Shaheen’s magic with the bat! @PeshawarZalmi won the super over. #HBLPSL7 l #LevelHai l #LQvPZ pic.twitter.com/QrjjIdxfyy

Despite leading from the front with the bat, Shaheen failed to replicate the success with the ball in the Super Over.
Defending six runs, the left-handed pacer conceded two boundaries off the first two deliveries as his team lost the edge of the seat contest.

Kangana Ranaut had recently taken to her Instagram stories and bashed Alia Bhatt and her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi.Β
She had not only taken a jibe at Alia by addressing her as β€œPapa Ki Pari” but also took potshots at her upcoming film saying it will be β€œburnt to ashes” upon its release.
During a press conference in Kolkata where Alia launched the new song Meri Jaan from Gangubai Kathiawadi, she was asked about her response to Kangana’s jibe.

The actress had a rather classy response to Kangana’s unnecessarily picking on her and her film. According to Zoom TV, she referred to Bhagwad Gita and said, β€œLord Krishna had said in the Gita that inaction is an action. That's all I want to say.”

For the unversed, Kangana had stated in a series of Instagram stories, β€œThis Friday 200cr will be burnt to ashes at the box office ... for a papa (movie mafia daddy) ki pari (who likes to keep a British passport) because papa wants to prove that romcom bimbo can act... biggest drawback of the film is wrong casting...yeh nahi sudhrenge (these people won't change) no wonder screens are going to South and Hollywood films ... Bollywood is destined for doom jab tak movie mafia has power.”
She had further added, β€œBollywood mafia daddy papa Jo who has single-handedly ruined the work culture in the film industry has emotionally manipulated many big directors and forced his products of mediocrity on their cinematic brilliance, another example will be following soon after this release... people need to stop entertaining him, in this Friday release even a big hero and greatest director are the new victims of his manipulations.”

Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi is slated to hit the big screens on February 25. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also stars Vijay Raaz, Jim Sarbh, Shantanu Maheshwari and Ajay Devgn.

On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut will be seen hosting the reality show Lock Upp that will stream on Alt Balaji and MX Player from February 27.
