    When the coronavirus pandemic led to a global shutdown, almost all the Hindi films that were supposed to go for a theatrical release opted for a direct OTT premiere. 
    These included films of the biggest of stars like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn etc.
    More than a year later when theatres opened up, we also saw the releases of films like Sooryavanshi, Bunty aur Babli 2, Antim, Tadap, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, 83 etc featuring actors like Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana and Saif Ali Khan.
    However, despite multiple avenues available to screen one's film be it on OTT platforms or theatrically, there were some actors who went missing from our screens.
    While some of them haven't been seen for over 3 years, there are others who have been away from the screens for almost four years now.
    Here's a look at the list of actors who haven't been seen in film or series for years now:
    1. Shah Rukh Khan © Red Chillies Entertainment
    One of the biggest movie stars in the world, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Zero directed by Aanand L Rai.

    The film was released in December 2018 and we are now in 2022. It's high time SRK returns to do what he does best - entertain us.
    Reportedly, he is in the midst of shooting for unannounced films like Pathaan, Atlee's untitled film and will soon start a film with Rajkumar Hirani.
    He will also be seen in cameos in R Madhavan's Rocketry and Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra.

    Aamir has been away from the screens even longer than Shah Rukh.

    He was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan that released during Diwali 2018.
    Since then, he has been working on his ambitious project, Laal Singh Chaddha, an official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump.
    In between, though, he was seen in a special dancer number titled Har Funn Maula from Kunal Kapoor starrer 2021 film Koi Jaane Na.

    Ranbir has been away from the screens even longer than Aamir.

    The actor was last seen in Sanju which was released in June 2018.
    He has been busy with Shamshera, Brahmastra and is currently filming Luv Ranjan's next with Shraddha Kapoor.

    She was last seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Zero which was released in December 2018.

    The actress then took a break focusing on her personal life and gave birth to a daughter with her husband Indian cricketer Virat Kohli.
    She recently began filming Jhoolan Goswami biopic titled Chakda Express. And in between, she produced Bullbul, a Netflix Original film.

    Sonam was last seen in The Zoya Factor which was released in 2019 and turned out to be a big dud at the box office. In 2020, though, she had a cameo in AK vs AK.

    She will next be seen in a film titled Blind expected to release this year.

    Hrithik was last seen in the 2019 blockbuster War and has been missing from our screens since then.

    Recently, he started filming for Vikram Vedha Hindi remake with Saif Ali Khan and will also be seen alongside Deepika Padukone in Fighter.
    7. Shahid Kapoor © T-Series
    Shahid's last film was his biggest blockbuster as a solo lead - Kabir Singh released in 2019.

    His next after Kabir Singh is keenly awaited. And if things were better we could've seen him on the big screen with Jersey but the film has been postponed and a new release date hasn't been announced yet.

    Manisha Koirala was among the most popular Bollywood actresses of the 90s. During that era, the actress gave a lot of memorable performances including Khamoshi, Dil Se among others. Just like her strong performances, the actress’ love life too stayed in the limelight. Well, her most controversial affair was with Nana Patekar, who was already married and 20-years older than her.

    Nana and Manisha met on the sets of their film Agni Sakshi in 1996 and fell in love. At that time, the actress had just ended her relationship with actor Vivek Mushran. Nana's menacing charisma was too much for her to resist. As they started filming for the movie, the two began dating in secret. 
    After Agni Sakshi, the duo teamed up again for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Khamoshi and the news about their off-screen chemistry spread like a wildfire back then. Manisha ultimately admitted that she and Nana were in a relationship, and the actor too acknowledged it. At that time, Nana and his wife Neelakanti were living separately.

    Nana and Manisha are both known for their fiery personalities and they often used to fight with each other. They were in love with each other, however, Nana wasn't ready to marry Manisha. There was a buzz that he was involved with actress Ayesha Jhulka as well. Their relationship went downhill when Manisha reportedly caught Nana with Jhulka in a closed room. 
    Despite her anger towards Nana, the Sanju actress first screamed at Ayesha. When Manisha first saw them together, she supposedly said to Ayesha, "Get off my man, you bi**h". 
    Both Ayesha and Nana fiercely denied any romantic relationship. Post this incident, Manisha moved on in life and Nana too never went back to her to rekindle their relationship. Another reason behind their breakup was Nana's refusal to marry Manisha.

    Later, the actor confessed missing Manisha in an interview with Filmfare and said, "She is the most sensitive actress around. She is like a kasturi hiran, she still needs to realise that she doesn't need to keep pace with anyone. She has it all and that's more than enough. I can barely hold back the tears when I see what she's doing to herself. Maybe I don't have anything to say about her today! A break-up is a very difficult phase. You have to experience it to know the pain. I can't describe the pain I went through. Please, let's not talk about this. I miss Manisha!"
    On the Bollywood front, both Nana and Manisha aren't too active currently. While Manisha was last seen in the English film India Sweets and Spices, Nana's last release was the long-delayed It's My Life. The film was released in 2020.

    The affair between the worlds of Cricket and Bollywood continues to be one of the most-talked about things in the country. One of the most famous unions that caught everyone’s attention was Mohd. Azharuddin’s romance with actress Sangeeta Biljani. The former beauty queen was nursing a broken heart after her alleged break-up with Salman Khan when she met Azharuddin at a shoot in 1985, and it was love at first sight for him. At The India Today Mind Rocks conclave, he once opened up about his relationship. "I met Sangeeta Bijlani during an ad shoot in 1985. Yes, it was love at first sight. Nobody talks about this so openly... But I am telling you. Cricket and Bollywood have had a long-standing relationship because of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and the relationship will continue I think, kyunki ye to dil ki baat hai. Getting married to an actor or cricketer is a personal choice and when there are two stars in question it becomes easier to deal with all the attention. The understanding becomes easier when cricketers and actors get married” he said.

    Even though he was married, he fell for the Bollywood actress and the two were married for over 14 years before calling it quits. While the reasons for their divorce were unknown, various rumours floated in the media, with one of them being that his growing closeness with Badminton player Jwala Gutta was one of the factors. The  rumours were baseless and the ex-cricketer even quashed them in his interviews. "I've known Jwala for many years. She's a friend and will always be. These are planted stories and motivated by people, who are against me in the Badminton Association of India. They are so upsetting," Azhar said in an interview. Even Jwala mentioned how upsetting it was in an interview with TOI. "I am disgusted by the reports. I know they are being spread by people from the badminton association because I am not on good terms with them," she said.

    'Cricket is a funny game'. You must have heard this saying quite often while watching the game on your Television set.  

    There have been many instances when the play had to be stopped due to a pitch intruder or sometimes even a dog has caused the game to be stopped.
    But what transpired on a chilly November day in Delhi back in 2017 is something that was never heard before not just in cricket but in any sport. 
    A cricket match between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh was halted for a brief moment after a man drove his car onto the pitch.

    The incident took place at Delhi's Air Force Sports Complex in Palam during a Ranji Trophy match between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. The breach at the venue that left security dumbfounded was shocking for the fans as well the players present on the field.
    India regulars at that time like Gautam Gambhir, Ishant Sharma and Suresh Raina were playing that game. After that incident, Ishant took to Twitter to share a picture of the incident and raised concerns over players' safety.

    Raina, who was captaining Uttar Pradesh in that match, too bashed the security breach.
    "Very disturbing to see our Ranji Trophy game being interrupted in this fashion today! Thankfully all players are safe," Raina wrote in his tweet.

    Fans, just like every time, had a field day watching crazy scenes on a cricket field and reacted to the whole controversy on social media.

After the man was taken into custody, the match referee had a good look at the 22 yards and allowed the game to resume, extending the day's play by 20 minutes to cover up for the lost time.
    While the incident was not something to be proud of for Delhi, the Ishant Sharma-led outfit did manage to get the better of Raina's team. Delhi won that match by four wickets.

    When Virat Kohli was sacked from the ODI captaincy and the role was given to Rohit Sharma, there was a lot of speculation around their relationship.
    People wondered how the two modern-day greats would link up in the coming days and if what happened off the field would affect their relationship on the field.

    All those people who had doubts regarding their on-field chemistry got an answer during the first ODI against the West Indies.
    After becoming the ODI captain, this was the first time Rohit and Kohli were playing together and the way they complimented each other in the middle, it never looked like there was anything wrong between them.

    In the 22nd over of the innings, there was a huge caught-behind appeal against Shamarh Brooks but the on-field umpire wasn’t sure about it and he turned it down.
    Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was convinced that the ball had taken an outside edge but the wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant wasn’t on the same line. All the close-in fielders gathered at the striker’s end and they all shared their opinion with the skipper but they all lacked conviction.

    This is when Kohli, who was fielding at short extra-cover, told Rohit that there was a definite outside edge and he should challenge the on-field decisions and signal for the Decision Review System (DRS).

    Convinced by Kohli’s confidence, the 34-year-old opener signalled for the DRS. The replay clearly showed there was a thick outside edge and the TV umpire ordered the on-field official to reverse his decision.

    Having watched the replay on the big screen, the whole Indian camp erupted with joy, especially Kohli and Rohit. The visuals of both of them celebrating the Windies downfall like best buddies became a huge talking point on social media.

    All the so-called fans who spread negativity on social networking must realise that both the cricketers play cricket with the same goal in mind. They both want to take Indian cricket to new heights.
