He is unfiltered, unapologetic, never shies away from putting forth his opinions and steers clear of the privilege that the 'Deol' tag offers him, particularly in his career.
We are talking about none other than Abhay Deol here, the man who took his sweet time to carve a niche for himself in the industry, solely based on his acting prowess.

While most actors were busy ensuring the fact that their box office scores kept soaring, we had Abhay on the other side, churning out meaningful stories with his power-packed performances. He is surely among the rare breed of sorted actors we have in the industry right now. Be it 'Dev D' or 'Aisha' or 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', Abhay has never failed to impress us with his brilliance in his craft.
He has come a long way and invested into a beautiful house for himself in Goa in the midst of a forest. Abhay gave a home tour to the team of Asian Paints for their show Where The Heart Is.

The outskirts of Abhay’s house looks like a greenhouse and the actor called his home a ‘a glass house in the middle of the forest’. He said, “It’s a plot in the middle of the forest. And I really wanted to basically bring the environment into the house. So it is essentially a glass house in a forest."

While giving the tour, he mentioned that he specified to his architect that he doesn’t want windows in the house but large sliding doors. He said. "So my brief to my architect was I don’t want any windows. I want opening doors, of glass, and ceiling so high that if I’m standing and looking at a person, I can’t even see the ceiling. That’s how high I want it."

The dining area of the house is styled very simplistically. The granite and the dark wooded pattern look both elegant and royal. The house gives a rustic feel with dark granite flooring and wooden elements. His large living room provides a beautiful view of his front garden and the forest behind it. It’s this area where he loves hosting his guests.

The kitchen of the house is also very minimalistic. Through the kitchen, you can also see the lush garden outside his house which is probably the setting of his home as you feel very close to nature in every nook and corner of the house.

The house also offers a beautiful swimming pool area.

It’s a dream house if you want to step out of the hustle bustle of your city life.

Harbhajan Singh was part of the Indian team that ended the country’s 28-year wait for a World Cup under the leadership of MS Dhoni. India had defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai to lift the coveted trophy.
Harbhajan was one of India’s most successful bowlers in the 2011 World Cup, picking up nine wickets. The legendary off-spinner bowled close to 90 overs in the tournament but still managed to keep his economy rate below five per over.

The 2011 World Cup-winning team had a nice combination of youth and experience but after the triumphant journey, the squad never played together again.

Harbhajan, in a conversation with Boria Majumdar, accused the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) of opting for a use and throw policy for some of the players from that squad.
“You also know what those officials were doing, what was happening in Indian cricket at that time and which section of people were playing, and how others were being ignored. If we were good enough to win the World Cup in 2011, why didn't we play even a single match together after that? Was that team good enough just to win the World Cup and became worse after that?," Harbhajan said in an episode of Backstage with Boria.
Harbhajan said guys like himself, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag were treated harshly by the board and it is a sad story of Indian cricket.

Were 31-year-old Harbhajan Singh, 30-year-old Yuvraj Singh, 32-year-old Virender Sehwag, 29-year-old Gautam Gambhir who played in 2011, not good enough to play in the World Cup team of 2015? Why were they removed from the team one by one? Why were they treated like 'Use and Throw'? It's a sad story of Indian cricket. I don't know what's happening now but till 2011 a lot of people helped me, a lot of them pulled my leg. But after 2012 they pulled my leg to throw me out completely,” the former India off-spinner added.

Harbhajan’s comments are proof that what all is happening currently in the BCCI in terms of selection and captaincy, is not new.

The 41-year-old announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in December last year. He finished his career as one of the most successful spinners in Indian cricket’s history.
Harbhajan played 103 Tests for India and picked up 417 wickets. In ODIs, he has 269 wickets next to his name in 236 matches.

As Bollywood rivalries go, there aren't as many big rivalries as the one between superstar Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi.

According to reports, Vivek had just been beginning to carve a name for himself in Bollywood, when he got into a beef with Salman Bhai!

And well, things were never the same again after that.

It was reported that Vivek had been dating Aishwarya Rai Bachchan during the time, with Salman being her former love.

It was then reported that Salman had threatened Vivek to stay away from Aishwarya, leading to Vivek actually hosting a press conference where he openly revealed the details of the entire matter.

However, that proved to be a mistake, that, according to reports led to Vivek being outcast by the entire industry, along with Aishwarya, who even broke up with him within days of the event.
Vivek, while speaking about the whole ordeal in an old interview with Farah Khan's Tere Mere Beech Mein, revealed how he considered speaking to the media a mistake.
He revealed how it would have been better had he just cleared the matter with Salman, man to man. He also spoke on how Sohail Khan, who was Vivek's close friend back at the time, had even asked him to wait so that he could intervene and get the matter resolved.
In the same interview, Vivek was asked by Farah whether the person he did it for appreciated it.
“Lekin jinke liye aapne yeh sab kiya unhone kabhi bhi aap ka saath diya? Appreciated Hua? (But the person you did all this for, did they ever support you? Or appreciated it?)” asked Farah.
However, Vivek's reply was, “No! Ulta yeh hua ki “tum bahut immature ho. (It happened that "You are immature")" Apne industry mein ek dastoor hai - Jaise Tupperware jahan plastic ke dabbe banate hain ... usse zyada plastic hamare yahan hai. Plastic smile, plastic heart..plastic everything!"

As we all know, things really never got resolved between Salman, Vivek, and Aishwarya, with Aishwarya then getting married to Abhishek Bachchan, with who she now has a daughter.
As for Salman, the actor is currently shooting for Tiger 3 and he will also be seen in Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan.
Vivek, on the other hand, will be seen in his upcoming short film 'Verses Of War'.

Shark Tank India is easily the most watched and the most entertaining show for Indians at the moment. The best part is that the whole family gets to become a couch potato in peace, while beautifully passing judgements to the candidates. Amidst this fun, a new meme has found its way on the internet.

As you might know, Rannvijay Singha is currently being seen on the show promoting an MBA degree from Upgrad. There is one clip that has suddenly gone viral where he is seen selling this degree to a 26-year-old electrical engineer who is a PhD graduate from IIT.

The comment section is a mixed bag of some weird comments and some jokes on the whole scenario. While some people are asking Upgrad to sell this MBA to Bollywood celebrities, and some are mocking why the Roadies host has been turned into a gatekeeper at Shark Tank.

Well, jokes apart, some people tried to infuse logic in the argument and explained that even though he is a PhD graduate, he still might need an MBA degree. The Roadies judge hit headlines today after he quit the show and is being replaced by Sonu Sood.

Big celebs fighting or nursing a rivalry is a very common sighting in the world of Bollywood. We have seen two big Khans of Bollywood take potshots at each other for a long time. You all know how Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan turned enemies before they finally let bygones be bygones.
There’s one more controversial fight that became the talk of town more than a decade ago. Known for her witty revelations, Sonam Kapoor has been one of the most expressive actresses in Bollywood and she has often crossed a thin line of respecting her seniors in the industry.
    View this post on Instagram
Back in 2009, Sonam became the ambassador of a beauty brand, which was endorsed by Aishwarya and the latter seemed to have expressed her discontentment at the same.
Following this, Sonam made a controversial statement and called Aishwarya "aunty". When she was asked about her statement in an interview with Hindustan Times, she had said, "Aish has worked with my dad so I have to call her aunty na!"
    View this post on Instagram
After this caused a stir, she tried to pacify the statement by saying that she would never do this and her quote was misconstrued. Sonam was also quoted as saying, “It's all gossip. I never said any of that. I don't want to remark on it anymore. A lot has been printed and said and it's all turned into very untidy and filthy, and I don't wish to get into it anymore. I really respect Abhishek as a person and had one of my best experiences working in Delhi 6. Aishwarya Rai is Aishwarya Rai. I never said that. I would address her in a deferential way, but I would never call her aunty.”

There were reports that Aishwarya was disappointed with her statements but Sonam did clarify that she meant no harm to Aishwarya. She basically meant that they both belong to two different generations.
According to many reports published in the year 2011, both Aishwarya and Sonam had to together walk the ramp of the Cannes Film Festival in France. It is also alleged that Aish refused to walk with Sonam. Aish also threatened that she’ll quit, if Sonam is allowed to share the platform with her.
Well, the two did bury the hatchet and decided to let go of their Cold War. Sonam personally invited Aishwarya to her wedding with Anand Ahuja. Aishwarya also obliged by attending the wedding reception.

We are glad that the two have moved past it.
