The IPL auction is as much about experienced campaigners from around the world as it is about young and exciting uncapped Indian players.
History tells us that teams that have shown faith in local talents have generally done well in the tournament.

It’s been a trend in the last few years. It’s been the case since the beginning of the IPL. We saw how Rajasthan Royals filled with some exciting young talents clinched the title in the inaugural season.

All the team owners know that filling up their squads with big-ticket players won’t guarantee them silverware. For that they need to have a perfect mix of experience and youth in their squad.

That’s why every year we see teams fighting to sign relatively unknown cricketers because of the value they bring to the squad.

So, this year also there are several uncapped Indian cricketers who are expected to start a bidding war among franchises.
Here are six uncapped Indian cricketers who can fetch huge amount at the IPL 2022 auction:
KS Bharat (Base Price: Rs 20 lakh)Mustafizur strikes!

KS Bharat departs after a fine knock of 44.

Batting in the middle-order, KS Bharat played a couple of match-winning knocks for RCB last season. Who can forget his last-ball six that helped RCB beat Delhi Capitals in a nail-biting contest last year?
He is one of the best wicketkeeper-batters in the country and franchises looking for a quality middle-order can bid huge for him.
Avesh Khan (Base Price: Rs 20 lakh)Another one for Avesh Khan! #KKR 5 down as Dinesh Karthik gets out. #VIVOIPL #KKRvDC @DelhiCapitals

Avesh Khan was the second highest wicket-taker in IPL last season and given his last year’s IPL performance, it was a surprise that Delhi Capitals did not retain him.
The demand for Indian fast bowlers is always high and one should not be surprised if several teams bid huge to sign him.
Shahrukh Khan (Base Price: Rs 40 lakh)Shahrukh Khan misses out on a maiden 50 by three runs as he is caught at deep midwicket for 47 off 36 balls. A fine knock comes to an end.

Shahrukh Khan is regarded as one of the most explosive batters in the country. He was the reason behind Chennai’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy triumph last year.
It was his last-ball six that helped Chennai beat Karnataka in a nerve-wracking final. I have no doubt there will be plenty of suitors lined up for him in the auction.
Yash Dhull (Base Price: Rs 20 lakh)WHAT A HIT

The captain of India’s Under-19 World Cup team, Yash Dhull showed a glimpse of his extraordinary talent when he smashed a match-winning century in the semi-final against Australia.
His base price is only Rs 20 lakh but teams looking to sign him will have to spend much more than that.
Raj Angad Bawa (Base Price: Rs 20 lakh)Raj Bawa reaching 150 with a cracking shot is voted the @Nissan #POTD from the #U19CWC clash between India and Uganda pic.twitter.com/567zwmNKG2
    — ICC (@ICC) January 23, 2022
The rarest entity in Indian cricket is a quality fast-bowling all-rounder. Bawa has been impressive with both bat and ball in the ongoing Under-19 World Cup.
He picked up four wickets in the opening group game against South Africa and then smashed 162* against Uganda. His all-round skills make him a hot property at the auction.
Rajvardhan Hangargekar (Base Price: Rs 30 lakh)Rajvardhan Hangargekar smashing three consecutive sixes is the winner of the @Nissan #POTD from the #U19CWC clash between India and Ireland pic.twitter.com/texqEd4gZy
    — ICC (@ICC) January 20, 2022
A new-ball bowler who can tonk the ball to a fair distance. Not many Indian players can claim to have the same ability as India’s Under-19 star Rajvardhan Hangargekar.
Apart from opening the bowling for India U-19 side, he is also used as pinch-hitter, which speaks volumes about his six-hitting prowess. This one-of-a-kind player is expected to create chaos in the bidding room.

Most men deal with skin issues even after following a skincare routine or doing more than they are willing to. We’ll let you in on a secret. Just like the way to a man’s heart is from his stomach, chances are the answer to your unending skin problems also lies in there. In your gut, to be more specific. As strange as it sounds, it’s absolutely true.

    © iStock
We talked to Janvi Chitalia, Integrative Gut Microbiome Health Coach and Functional Medicine Nutritionist, about the impacts of poor gut health on skin to make it simpler for you.

She says, “Skin is one the most visible indicators of a bad gut microbiome. Whether it is an imbalanced gut flora, allergies or hormonal changes, the skin responds in various ways like acne, inflammation of the skin, eczema, rash, skin irritation, hives, breakouts and/or discoloration.”
    View this post on Instagram
However, she also gave some valuable tips and tricks and explained how your gut could be the culprit behind your skin woes.

    © iStock
Here are some ways your gut could be affecting your skin and aggravating skin issues.

    1. A poor gut health can lead to intestinal inflammation, which can ultimately lead to inflammation of the skin as well.
    2. Stress, antibiotics, alcohol, cigarettes, excessive sugar and pollution can compromise good bacteria in the gut and impair the nourishment of the skin leading to skin diseases as well.
    3. Exposure to pollutants and toxins in our environment and food, and use of over-the-counter pain meds and antacids lead to increase in IBS related issues, which results in heat acne or boils on the face skin especially cheeks, forehead, or even the back.
    4. Small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) caused due to low stomach acid has a direct link to rosacea (bumpy, red irritation on the face).
    © iStock
Now that you know how your skin issues could be the victim of an unhappy gut, here are small lifestyle changes that can help in maintaining a good gut health as well as healthy skin.

    1. There are certain food items like processed foods, fried foods, dairy, sugar, gluten and any unhealthy, junk food that you should steer clear of. They disrupt the microbiome balance of the good and bad bacteria which leads to inflammation, leakiness of the gut and intestinal permeability. These gut imbalances show on the skin in the form of dry skin patches, psoriasis, eczema, lichen planus, bullous pemphigoid etc.
    2. Men often also complain of having extremely dry skin which can be because of lack of water intake, lack of good fats in the diet which can help nourish the skin inside out and reduce the dryness of the skin.
    © iStock
    3. Insulin resistance or pre diabetes can show up in the form of discoloration on the skin, especially under the armpits, neck, forehead or even the frown lines of the face. Regulating insulin and sugar levels could help reduce pigmentation

    4. Include foods in your meals that can help your skin. These are healthy probiotics like yogurt, rice water kanji and kimchi, good fats such as avocado oil, coconut based preparations, olives or olive oil, bone broth or collagen made of fish or chicken or mutton bones. Also include a lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet.
Also, follow these health tips to make sure your gut is healthy and it shows on your skin as well.
    © iStock
    1. Drink an anti-inflammatory concoction of some turmeric and ginger in warm powder to treat autoimmune conditions.

    2. Have jeera, ajwain and dhania boiled in water to reduce constipation related boils or have shredded ginger and lime 20 minutes before main meals.
    3. Needless to say, yoga, meditation, walking or exercising regularly can help both your gut and skin a great deal. It helps detoxify and distress and thus improve skin health.

When someone said ‘pack your love in a bag’, a guy took it way too seriously. If you’ve noticed why certain #Manipalsuitcase is trending on social media, the reason is an old clip that has suddenly found its way on the internet. The clip is an old CCTV footage from a hostel, where two guys are carrying a heavy suitcase. On opening the bag at the gate, the guards and the surprised onlookers find a girl standing up!

The funniest video I've seen today
Apparently, a Manipal Univ. student was smuggling his gf out in a trolley bag. Someone's watching too much Netflix. pic.twitter.com/RQLkAfj9vB
    — 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖 𝙇𝙞𝙙𝙝𝙤𝙤 (@PLidhoo) February 2, 2022
While the video is being claimed to be from Manipal, some people have explained that it's from a college in Dehradun. The hashtag has Manipal and hence that’s become the hook point for people who are actually packing up memes around it.
you're in her dms, she's in his suitcase

    — arush (@_arushh) February 2, 2022The incident being reported is from the year 2019. While people are having a good laugh, it is actually quite a bizarre thing to do. Hostel policies don’t allow girls and boys to stay over in each other’s dorms, but this could have been risky and could have physically harmed the girl. The first time we spotted this video, it gave us full ‘Joe Goldberg’ vibes from the stalker series You.

Harshal Patel burst onto the scene after a splendid Indian Premier League (IPL) season with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) last year. The pacer won the Purple Cap after picking up 32 wickets in 15 matches.
The 31-year-old played a key role in RCB reaching the playoffs of the 14th edition of the IPL. Harshal benefitted from an exceptional season with the ball in the T20 league as he got the chance to make his international debut in the same year.
Harshal Patel now has a fifer and a hattrick against MI in the same season.

While he played the IPL under Virat Kohli’s captaincy, Harshal made his debut against New Zealand in a T20I under Rohit Sharma and picked up two wickets in his first international outing.
Speaking on the show ‘Follow The Blues’ on Star Sports, Harshal lavished praise on Rohit’s captaincy skills and said that he rarely tells us where to bowl and which field to set.
The pacer mentioned that he has his plans ready and likes to enjoy the freedom to be able to execute those plans rather than listening to a lot of inputs from outside.
    View this post on Instagram
“He (Rohit Sharma) will basically give you the ball and if he has confidence in you, he will not tell you about what to do. ‘You know what to do, just go and do it’. So, he is really good as captain and I really enjoy playing under those captains,” Harshal said.
“I have my plans- Plan A, B, C so even when I get hit, I know what to do. I don’t like a lot of outside input and he fits in that personality as a captain. He is very relaxed and gives you the freedom,” he added.
Harshal Patel wouldn’t have thought that praising the current India white-ball captain can led to the amount of trolling/criticism that he faced on social media.
    Waah bsdk

Dhoni sets up field and tells you where to bowl
Bowlers- He makes our job easy

    Rohit doesn't say a word
    Bowlers- He gives us freedom

    Hypocrisy??

    — I'm Not Dhoni (@not_dhoni) February 3, 2022Harshal Patel will be up for grabs as RCB decided against retaining him despite his record 32-wicket season in last year’s IPL.
The pacer has kept his base price for the upcoming IPL mega auction at Rs 2 crores and with wickets galore in the previous season, he is expected to fetch big money during the auction.

Believe it or not, it's not just the Bollywood actors who have differences in the industry.

As you already know, there are a lot of past rivalries in Bollywood, with one being the Salman and Shah Rukh one a couple of years back.
The tiff between Vivek Oberoi and Salman has also been one of the biggest controversies to date.
However, there was a time when Bollywood's top director Karan Johar had a point of difference with another Bollywood director, Mahesh Bhatt.
    © BCCL
As you already know, Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Alia Bhatt is actually one of the stars who was taken under the wing of Karan, with the director actually launching her in Student Of The Year alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan.

    © Dharma Productions
However, did you know that Karan actually said a few things about her Mahesh, which were obviously surprising to many?

    Yep!
According to reports, Karan had spoken against Mahesh back in 1998, when Mahesh had been directing the Shah Rukh Khan film Duplicate.
    © Dharma Productions
In an old interview, Karan, who is producing Alia's upcoming film Brahmastra, had expressed his disappointment in Mahesh for having put really low interest in Duplicate.

The movie, starring SRK, Juhi Chawla, and Sonali Bendre, had actually been produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, which at the time was being helmed by Karan's father Yash Johar.
At the time, Karan revealed how Mahesh's actions put the film at stake, and how it caused a lot of 'pain and despair' to his father. Speaking about it, Karan said,
“I had nothing to do with it. In fact, I deliberately and consciously stayed away from it. The film was completed only because of the commitment of one man: Shah Rukh Khan. Everything else was wrong with it.”
“This is not the way to make a film and I am sad that my father had to go through with the pain and the despair of making such a film in which the director had no interest beyond cursory.”
“He was careless and took virtually no interest in the making of the film. If it was not for Shah Rukh and the way he took charge of the film, it would never have been completed”.
Well, obviously fans actually ended up liking the film that saw Shah Rukh play double roles.
I guess, the Bollywood Badshah, who will next be seen in his film Pathan, is always there to save the day.

The unison between Cricket and Bollywood has existed since forever. From rumours about stars from both the world dating, to some even getting married, the story about affairs between cricketers and actors has always been fodder for gossip.

One such whiff that caused a stir back in the late 90s was the news of a love affair between actress and politician Nagma and cricketer Sourav Ganguly.
    © Twitter
Sourav Ganguly was married to Dona and around 1999, two years after their wedding, news of his growing closeness to Nagma became the talk of the town. According to a report in DNA , their affair affected his married life and his wife was clearly unhappy about the whole situation.

Nagma and Sourav Ganguly met during World Cup 1999 and were often spotted together. The two never spoke about the relationship, but later in an explosive interview with Savvy, Nagma opened up about what happened and why they eventually broke up. “Whatever one says, nobody has denied anything. As long as there is no denial of each other's existence in each other's life, any person can say anything they want," she said.
    © Instagram
Talking about their eventual separation, she quipped, “there was a career at stake, besides other things, so one had to part. One had to weigh a lot of things, rather than be on an ego trip and insist on being together." She also said how she was blamed for his poor performance as Cricket fans get emotional over the sport.

Nagma also shared that even had started blaming her for the poor performance by Ganguly and said that a sport is a sport and people get carried away with it. “When it becomes too much, it starts affecting the interest of one another. Then slowly, though you're supposed to bring happiness to a person's life, you bring misery. Then it's in their best interests to move on." Back in 2020, she surprised everyone on social media when she wished him on his birthday.
    © Twitter
Well, this was one love story that didn’t meet a desirable end but we guess that’s what happens when two mature individuals decide to see the bigger picture in life.

With a net worth of approximately $400 million, Amitabh Bachchan can surely be considered one of the richest actors of the Bollywood industry. He has given multiple hits in his career and he is continuing to work till date. He is not just an exceptional actor but also a great businessman who has invested in multiple properties.
View this post on InstagramHaving said that, he has managed to sell his parental bungalow in Delhi. The house named Sopaan, located in Delhi's Gulmohar Park, is said to have been sold for Rs 23 crore. Yes, you heard it right.
Amitabh's late parents, Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan, used to reside in the Delhi property. A report in The Economic Times stated that the house has been purchased by the CEO of Nezone group of companies, Avni Bader, who has known the Bachchan family for more than 35 years. According to the data obtained by Zapkey, the registry of Amitabh's 418.05 square-metre home was completed on December 7, 2021.

“It’s an old construction, so we will demolish the structure and construct as per our requirements. We have been living in the area for many years and were looking for an additional property. When this offer came, we immediately said yes and acquired the asset,” Avni told the publication.

“Teji Bachchan, who was a freelance journalist, became a member of the Gulmohar Park Housing Society. Amitabh lived here before moving to Mumbai, and later his parents also moved. No one has lived in the house for years. The transaction is in line with the market rates,” said Pradeep Prajapati, a real estate agent from South Delhi.
