    After a long wait, Katrina Kaif is finally tying the knot with Vicky Kaushal today at Six Senses Fort Banwara in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur area. Their families and close friends have already reached the venue as their pre-wedding festivities started yesterday. While the soon-to-be-married couple is keeping everything related to their wedding a secret, various rumours are already doing the rounds on the internet.
    Now, as per the latest buzz, bride Katrina Kaif is footing the major bill and is deciding on most of the things related to the wedding. 
    Revealing the same, a source told Bollywood Life that Katrina is apparently paying around 75% of all wedding expenses. She is taking care of most of the expenses including security arrangements and travel costs of guests. The couple has got the wedding venue at the Six Senses Fort Barwara for free of cost as the proprietors know that such a high-profile wedding will give them publicity resulting in a huge boost in sales. 
    On the other hand, Vicky is reportedly covering the remaining 25% cost. Hence, Katrina is taking most of the important decisions including making guests sign NDAs, no media coverage, no-mobile policy, and entry via security codes.
    The report further states, "Vicky Kaushal was not too pleased about Katrina Kaif's stringent measures to ensure a no-show by the media as also with the choice of venue, but had little to no say as she's bearing the major costs of their wedding".
    For the uninitiated, the lovebirds will be getting married in an intimate yet grand ceremony in the presence of their close ones. To avoid awkwardness, they have not invited their ex-partners or common friends close to the exes. Hence, the invitation has not been extended to Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Harleen Sethi.
    Also, the duo has reportedly sold the streaming rights of their wedding festivities for a huge amount of Rs 80 crores to an OTT giant. After exchanging nuptial vows, they take a small break and will resume work very soon.

    A few months back, Karan Johar surprised everyone by announcing his next directorial, a romantic comedy titled Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. 

    He also revealed that his magnum opus Takht, which he had announced a few years back, has been put on the back burner for now. 
    The announcement of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani garnered attention because of its interesting star cast featuring veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and lead pair - Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.

    Karan has already shot for over 50 days of the film in Delhi and recently, even announced a release date with a BTS video featuring its cast and crew. However, not much is known officially about its plotline. 

    But, a new report in India Today has claimed that the Karan Johar film will feature many steamy kissing scenes between Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Not just that, a source has also informed them about the plot of the film.

    The report has claimed that Ranveer’s character Rocky will belong to a rich family while Alia’s character Rani will be from a middle-class family. 

    A source told the website, “Well, Alia plays a middle-class girl, whereas Ranveer belongs to a rich family. He is the waris of Dhanlaxmi Enterprises and stays in a white House Gurgaon, while Rani stays in a lousy fort. The story is basically about a rich guy falling in love with a middle-class girl and how the parents are unhappy with this union.”

    Recently, a few pictures from the sets of the film had gone viral on social media. In the picture, the film’s cast was seen shooting at Delhi’s Qutub Minar.

    Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will mark Ranveer and Alia’s second collaboration after Zoya Akhtar’s last directorial Gully Boy released in 2019. 
    Apart from being a box office success, the movie created the record of winning the most number of Filmfare Awards.

    It will also mark Dharmendra’s reunion with Jaya Bachchan after the 1975 hit Chupke Chupke and with Shabana Azmi after the 1988 film Mardon Wali Baat. 

    Interestingly, Jaya Bachchan made her acting debut opposite Dharmendra in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s 1971 classic Guddi.

    Wednesday (December 08) was a tragic day for our country as we got to know about the horrible news of the death of Indian Army Chief Of Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat, and 11 other persons on board the IAF chopper, which crashed in Tamil Nadu.

    The entire nation came together to pay tribute to the departed souls and prayed for their families.

    It truly was a very sad day as India lost some really, really good men, with General Bipin Rawat, being one of its finest.

    Born in Pauri district in the northern state of Uttarakhand, Gen. Bipin Rawat followed the generations-old tradition of his family in joining the Indian Army.

    His father, Laxman Singh Rawat had served as the Lieutenant General in the army, and Gen. Rawat reached every milestone there was to in order to make his family and indeed entire India proud of him.

    Gen Bipin Rawat was a veteran of counterinsurgency warfare and throughout his career, served & fought in some of India's most difficult terrains which included the northern and eastern commands.

    He also played a crucial part in reducing the militancy in the Northeast, with the 2015 cross-border operation into Myanmar being one of his finest exploits.

    As the year 2021 is coming to an end, Google has released its lists of what the users searched for the most in India and in the world. 

    The list of the most searched actors around the world features only two Indian names - Aryan Khan and Shehnaaz Gill. 
    Aryan Khan became the talk of the town due to his arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drugs case. Shehnaaz Gill, on the other hand, made headlines after the shocking and untimely demise of her partner and actor Sidharth Shukla.

    The list of most searched actors in the world is topped by Alec Baldwin, who courted controversy after the cinematographer of his film Rust was killed on-set when a live round instead of a blank was fired from the actor’s prop gun. 

    Pete Davidson is second in the list and Aryan Khan takes the third spot, hence becoming the most searched Indian actor in the world.

    Shehnaaz Gill has found herself in the 7th position closely followed by Elliot Page, Dave Chappelle and Brenda Song.

    But, this isn’t the only list that Aryan Khan has featured in. 

    He also made it to the second spot in the 'most searched personalities' in India. The list is topped by athlete Neeraj Chopra, who won Gold in Javelin Throw at Tokyo Olympics 2021. 
    Shehnaaz Gill is also on the list in the third position, Vicky Kaushal is in the sixth position and Varun Dhawan’s wife Natasha Dalal in the tenth position.

Kareena was recently subjected to brutal trolling when she was spotted stepping out of the 20 years of 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' bash.

    It’s surely insensitive to call her names and it’s high time we need to put an end to trolling.  

    A while ago, she was massively trolled for sharing a video on Instagram of her doing 108 Surya namaskars. She was trolled harshly for being a Muslim and doing Surya namaskars with trolls stating how Muslims should not be doing yoga. Some people even said that she is lying and might have overstated that she was able to do 108 Surya namaskars. A lot of people pointed out mistakes in her poses.

    A couple of days ago, she was trolled badly for wearing the black-colored mesh top, which according to people looked like a nightie. A user commented: "These stars are so rich but they do not have clothes. Nighty pahan kar agyi… ab to inke stylish fate chite bhi jo kapde the wo bhi khtm hogye! hey prabhu or kya kya dikhaoge.”

    In an interview with The Guardian, she addressed the trolling and said that she felt ‘terrible’ that her family and children were subjected to it. “Honestly, these are names that we just liked; it’s nothing else. They are beautiful names and they’re beautiful boys. It’s unfathomable why somebody would troll children. I feel terrible about it, but I have to just focus and get through it. I can’t be looking at my life through the trolls,” she said.  
    This is certainly not okay and people should refrain from commenting such nasty things.

    The last 24 hours have been pretty eventful for Indian cricket. Depending on who you ask, you might witness two contrasting emotions – one jubilant, other grim.
    Rohit Sharma fans are happy as their Hitman has been awarded the ODI captaincy while Virat Kohli supporters are anything but happy.

    After the disastrous T20 World Cup campaign, the writing was on the wall and the BCCI asked Kohli to step down from the 50-over format just the way did from the shortest format but he had envisioned himself leading India in a home World Cup in 2023.
    The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hierarchy and national selectors tried their best to avoid this animosity between two factions and gave Kohli 48 hours to make a public announcement, announcing his resignation from his ODI role but he didn’t pay any heed.

    According to a PTI report, published in The Times of India, after the BCCI gave Kohli 48-hour ultimatum to “voluntarily step down from ODI leadership” or else be ready to face the axe. Given his status in Indian cricket, he was under the impression that the BCCI wouldn’t dare sack him but he couldn’t have been more wrong.

    The report further added that by not relinquishing ODI captaincy on his own, the Delhi cricketer, in a way, challenged the BCCI top brass to sack him and they did exactly that.

    “The BCCI, it is learnt, waited for the last 48 hours for Kohli, who has already relinquished T20 captaincy, to voluntarily step down from ODI leadership as well but he did not. By the 49th hour, losing the position to Rohit Sharma was simply 'fait accompli',” read the PTI report.
    “In the end, it seems Kohli dared the BCCI to sack him, the parent body went ahead and did exactly that and the once all-powerful skipper had no other option but to accept it,” it added.

    Another interesting thing to note is that while announcing its decision to name Rohit as new ODI skipper, the BCCI didn’t thank Kohli for his services to the nation in the last few years. Forget acknowledging his hard work,  they didn’t even mention his name once in the press release.

    “The All-India Senior Selection Committee also decided to name Mr Rohit Sharma as the Captain of the ODI & T20I teams going forward,” read the BCCI release.
    Apart from the ODI captaincy, Rohit was also named the vice-captain of the red-ball team, replacing Ajinkya Rahane.

    All of this clearly shows that Rohit’s stock in Indian cricket is on the rise while the same can’t be said about the Test skipper.

    Irrespective of whether he was sacked or gave up his role voluntarily, as fans we only hope that this reignites the spark that was missing for the last two years and he answers his critics with his bat.
