Bollywood movies are full of drama, fantasy and things that never happen in real life. From people reincarnating to seek revenge to a crowd bursting into a dance routine on the street, these movie scenarios are far from reality. However, it seems so fascinating that we sometimes wish it did happen to us in real life.

    © Tips Industries
Not coming back from the dead (that’s a bit too extreme), but little things like never have to shop but ending up looking dapper in every wedding and party or having breakfast in bed without making a mess, we wish some things happened to us in real life as often as they show in the movies.

    © Soundrya Productions
Here are 5 such things that we have grown up watching in the movies and ended up wishing it happened to us too.

    1. Becoming A Billionaire Overnight A heartbroken guy makes something out of himself, becomes an IAS because his bride-to-be left him to become one or becomes a billionaire in a matter of a year because his girlfriend was married off to a wealthy businessman. These movies should come with a manual on how we can do it the next time we get unlucky in love.
    2. Engaging In A Thrilling Fight & Actually Winning © Next Gen Films
We all have whistled on the scenes where the hero beats up the bad guy or a bully and imagined being in a fight scene like that ourselves, only if given a chance. However, all we get by engaging in a scuffle is getting hurt and later taunts from our desi parents. How we would love to show the action stunts, given that we are the hero and not the bad guy, obviously.

    3. Getting A Makeover Just By Changing A Hairstyle © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment
Or removing glasses! People in the movies have it easy. They get a haircut, change clothes and remove specs and it’s “new scene, new me” while it takes real people years of metal braces, expensive hair products, getting comfortable with the contact lenses to transform our looks and actually be confident about ourselves.

    4. Pulling Off The Perfect Disguise © Yash Raj Films
How easy it would be to stalk your best friend who cancelled plans by lying about studying at home but in reality went on a Tinder date if you could disguise like Shah Rukh Khan in the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Well, people are more brainy than Taani in real life and it just doesn’t work.

    5. A Happy Ending © Yash Raj Films
The guy gets the girl, the strict dad gives his blessing, the hero gets his house that was auctioned away back in all glory and people move on from a heartbreak by getting a second chance at love. In the end, most movies end on a happy note, barring a few that show realistic endings. However, for us, it’s always “Ye dukh khatam kahe nahi hota bey?”

Remember the old saying, 'When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade'! Well, let's just say that Bollywood and Hollywood star Priyanka Chopra really took things seriously and made sure that she squeezed out each lemon in the garden to make buckets of lemonade.

    © Instagram/Priyanka Chopra
Yeah! The 39-year-old actress won the Miss World 2000 pageant, then became a super successful Bollywood star, then became a Hollywood star, before ending up marrying the love of her life, Nick Jonas, the star singer of Jonas Bros.

Now, when you think about these things, you'd really think that she truly has the world at her feet. In fact, she actually does. But looks like things are not as perfect as they seem. As you'd have already heard or read somewhere, the actress recently changed her Instagram handle name from Priyanka Chopra Jonas to just Priyanka Chopra.
This led to people speculating whether she had had some sort of an altercation with hubby Nick, leading her to remove the surname 'Jonas'.
    © Instagram/Priyanka Chopra
Now, while the actress and the musician have obviously kept mum over these rumors, it looks like trouble may actually be brewing in Hollywood.

It is said that the star couple may actually be in doubt over their marriage. This is according to celebrity astrologer Pandit Jagannath Guruji, who said that Nick may be losing interest in Priyanka.

“Their relationship isn’t like before and they’re gradually losing interest. Talking about Nick especially, they are taking time to make their relationship stronger. But it is not particularly going to head for divorce at the moment. Having said that, there seems to be a 50-50 chance that they might head for separation,” said the astrologer while speaking to TOI.

    © Twitter
While there is obviously no confirmation on the star couple heading for splits, the astrologer also predicted that even if things go bad, the duo may have an amicable separation. “Their marriage will have lots of misunderstandings and this is the Kesu period so the Mahadasha of Mars from September 2021 to June 2028 will be bad. They may head for separation but it will be an amicable one,” he said.

    Only time will tell.
Now, while Priyanka may have starred in the astrology Bollywood movie What's Your Raashee?, we certainly don't know whether she is going to buy this.

Despite being the captain in the Kanpur Test against New Zealand, a lot of questions were raised over Ajinkya Rahane’s place in the India Test team.
Before the match, the former India opener Gautam Gambhir had said that Rahane should consider himself really lucky that the selectors and the team management entrusted him with the responsibility of leading the side in regular skipperVirat Kohli’s absence, despite his shoddy batting form.
    © Reuters
“I am going to open with Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul because he opened in England and then probably Shubman Gill will bat at No. 4. Plus, Rahane is pretty fortunate that he’s still part of this side because he’s leading. But again, he’s got another opportunity now, hopefully, he can make that count,” Gambhir had said on Star Sports ahead of the match.

After being cornered from all quarters, most fans and experts hoped that it would inspire Rahane to make this opportunity count and shut down all his critics by playing a big knock in the series opener at Kanpur’s Green Park Stadium.
First ball: Rahane reviews and survives
    Second ball: Bowled

Kyle Jamieson gets another wicket again, and this time the India captain has to go! #INDvNZ
    — ESPNcricinfo (@ESPNcricinfo) November 25, 2021
But like always, the 33-year-old failed to convert his start into a big knock and got out playing a poor shot after scoring just 35 runs. He started his innings with great confidence and looking at his stroke play, fans started tweeting with optimism, hoping that he would convert his solid start into a big score but the manner in which threw away his wicket frustrated everyone.
Don't remember the last time I saw Rahane look so assured at the start of an innings, ridiculously comfortable from the start today.
    — Prashanth S (@ps_it_is) November 25, 2021When there is a question mark over him, Rahane always comes with a good knock to save India and looks like it is happening today as well.
    — Johns. (@CricCrazyJohns) November 25, 2021
If we talk about this year alone, Rahane’s average has dipped down to 19 in the longest format -- almost half of his overall career average -- which is not good enough to justify his selection in the India Test team. Not when we have several other talented youngsters knocking the door down with their performances and staking a claim in the Indian’s red-ball squad.
    © Twitter/BlackCaps
For us fans it’s sad to see Rahane struggling like this and not living up to his potential. It seems like this constant failure has diminished his confidence to such an extent that he has become a shadow of himself.

After he got out, the fans took to Twitter to express their frustration over his dismissal. The supporters who were hoping for a big knock said that they are done expecting good things from the Mumbai batter because he has forgotten how to bat and urged the BCCI to show him the exit door.
Whenever we feel rahane will score big today, he gifts his wicket away!!
    — Yash Shah (@YashShah1231) November 25, 2021What was that atrocious shot from Rahane yaar!!!! All the batters have gotten themselves in and then gone. This is so annoying.
    — कुशल मेहरा (@kushal_mehra) November 25, 2021God save rahane
    — Theone (@12dhaval99999) November 25, 2021Rahane utne he run banata hai jitne mai next match ki position fix ho jae uski.
    Na zayada, Na kam. #INDVsNZ
    — Yaman (@Oye_lambu) November 25, 2021This is Rahane's legacy . He was looking so confident . But we all knew his wicket is just round the corner
    — Mradul (@gillfan_) November 25, 2021I have zero hopes from Rahane now
    — Saransh (@CricSaransh) November 25, 2021Getting out after good start same old stories of Rahane is continue.
    — करन छा़वडी (@Karan_Gurjar7) November 25, 2021Looking at his past performances, the selectors and the team management have backed him for a couple of years now but with the arrival of youngsters like Shreyas Iyer, it feels as if his time in Team India is nearing its end.
With Kohli returning to the team in the next match, there is a huge possibility that Rahane could be dropped on the bench with Iyer taking his place.

Alia Bhatt, who is currently shooting for her upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in Delhi, recently took some time off and attended singer Amritpal Singh Dhillon aka AP Dhillon's music concert with co-star Ranveer Singh in Gurugram. Various videos from the event are now doing the rounds on social media in which the Gully Boy duo is seen chilling, jamming, and enjoying themselves. While Ranveer donned a tracksuit with a hat, Alia is seen wearing black track pants paired with a T-shirt.
In one of the viral videos, Alia is seen interacting with a fan while sipping a hot beverage. When the fan cried out to her at the concert, the Student of The Year star immediately noticed the girl and responded with a flying kiss. One of the fan's friends then informs the actress, "Ye bahut badi fan hai (She's a huge fan)". Following this, the fan tells Alia that they had earlier met in 2014. To which, the actress replies, “I remember your face".
Hearing this, the fan gets emotional and starts crying. At last, Alia asks her to not "cry". In the clip, during their small conversation, the Bollywood star is seen continuously smiling and waving out towards the emotional fan. Watch the cute moment here:

Alia recognising her fan she met over six years ago proves that the actress might be among the top Bollywood actresses, however, is still humble and this sweet gesture proves the same.

Below, take a look at another video from the concert in which Ranveer and Alia are seen grooving on Dhillon's hit track Brown Munde at the concert:

If you’re an AP Dhillon fan then either you were there gyrating and jumping your heart out on Excuses or Toxic, or, like me, just scrolling through stories of friends who were there in flesh, and you weren’t.

As if missing out on his concert was not reason for FOMO enough, a viral clip of actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt dancing to Brown Munde is doing the rounds on social media and well, what can I say. Looks like I am the only AP fan who didn’t make it?

AP was in Delhi and performed to a packed house in Gurugram last night. He had the entire crowd dance to his tunes of his most famous hits including Brown Munde, Insane and Ma Belle. In another video shared by someone, Alia is telling a fan ‘I remember your face’ as happy fans shouted at the actors.

The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is nearly half-a-year away but the franchises have already started laying out the groundwork.
With the mega auction coming up, the preparations for the tournament are in full swing, with the teams finalising the list of players they want to retain and sending the rest of the names to go under the hammer.
    © Twitter/IPL
According to reports, reigning IPL champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) () have almost made up their mind about four players who they want to save from the bidding war. As expected the franchise has decided to defend their title next year under the captaincy of their talismanic leader Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Besides Dhoni, the four-time champions have decided to retain this year’s Orange Cap winner Ruturaj Gaikwad and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, while the fourth name is yet to be finalised.
As per The Indian Express report, the franchise’s first-choice for their last retention spot is England all-rounder Moeen Ali but if he doesn’t agree then they will approach his compatriot Sam Curran with the same proposal.
    © Twitter/IPL
After Dhoni guided CSK to their fourth IPL title last month, it was more or less expected that they would retain him for the next season. However, what has surprised the fans is the fact that the franchise wants to retain him for not just one season but next three years.

However fit he may be, no one can deny that the former Indian skipper, who turned 40 in July this year, isn’t getting any younger and has lost the touch. He isn’t the same batter who used to instill fear in bowlers’ minds and it reflected in the way he struggled to score runs throughout the IPL 2021.
    © Twitter/IPL
Even Dhoni’s die-hard fans were surprised to learn that the franchise is planning to spend a huge chunk of their money on retaining a player of his age, who is not a fraction of his old self. They could have easily made him their third or fourth choice retention and saved some purse and used that amount over strengthening their squad with an eye on the future.

Ye log pagal ho gya kya sach me? MSD Should have retired this year itself after winning the trophy..like AB retired to make 1 space & not playing for any other franchise, MS should have done that same way..if not then Max 1 year..why r they doing this?
    — Shantanu (@imshantanu105) November 25, 20213 seasons really?
    — Cricbite (@Cricbites7) November 25, 2021Marketing Matters
    — RockY (@RockY67646174) November 25, 2021Disadvantage csk. Dhoni should learn from virat. He should not be burden on the team.
    — #ThankyouAB (@theakshay18) November 24, 2021I can't see MS with such batting performances (Excluding Qualifier1)
    — ARYAN GILL (@TheAryanBansal) November 24, 2021After the IPL 2021 final, many fans and experts, including South Africa skipper Shaun Pollock, had said that the CSK skipper had won everything that was there to be won and it was the perfect time for him to hang up his boots.
But Dhoni publicly quashed his IPL retirement rumours saying that he intends to play his farewell match at his second home -- MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
    © Twitter/IPL
“I have always planned my cricket. My last ODI in India was in Ranchi. Hopefully, my last T20 will be in Chennai. Whether it’s next year or in five years’ time, I don’t know,” Dhoni said during an event organised by his franchise in Chennai.

    © Twitter/IPL
Just to be clear, I am not against Dhoni’s wish of retiring in front of his home crowd. But let’s be honest, even a mind like him doesn’t know what the future holds for him in the next two-three years.

By retaining him for the next three seasons, CSK are taking a huge punt and nobody knows if it will pay its dividend or end as a massive failure.
