One word that is enough to give anyone anxiety in a matter of seconds is the word, β€˜boss’, because let’s face it, most of them are the reason why you’re on the edge of your seat all the time.Β

It is said that whether or your life is hell or heaven is decided by the kind of manager you have, and seems like Tesla employees have recently found themselves on a highway to hell, especially after news of Elon Musk threatening to fire all Tesla managers who refuse to 'execute directions' without giving a valid reason has surfaced online.

Tech billionaire Elon MuskΒ who is the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer at SpaceX and Product Architect of Tesla has a reputation of not being shy of making a point when he wants to. And he does so in elaborate and to-the-point emails, two of which have recently been leaked.

And while one of the emails invites suggestions from employees on what they feel about listening to music while working, the other one threatens them to adhere to his directions, lest they would want to be fired.

Here is what the second email reads -
    Subj. Please Note
If an email is sent from me with explicit directions, there are only three actions allowed by managers.
    1. Email me back to explain why what I said was incorrect. Sometimes, I’m just plain wrong!
    2. Request further clarification if what I said was ambiguous.
    3. Execute the directions.
If none of the above are done, that manager will be asked to resign immediately.
    Thank you,
    Elon
Ever since the two emails were circulated on social media, people had divided opinions on Elon Musk’s tone for his employees. Some called his email, β€œperfectly fair and reasonable," while others thought it was way too harsh to make a point.
I wanna share the exact email because there is a bit more nuance to the email than what the headlines may imply. The email was originally sent out Oct 4, 2021: https://t.co/XbXDMmJvI3 pic.twitter.com/BVyGKqyxqg

A user even wrote, β€œThis is uber capitalist lol. It will work with the company as a startup, but won't work long term. Especially when Elon leaves.”
What do you think about his tone?

If anyone were to ask me to give out an alternate career option for the majority of people in this country, apart from suggesting them to become a troll, coming in second hot on that list would be the profession of β€˜fashion policing’.Β
A job that apparently needs no experience or knowledge but just a stereotypical and shallow mindset. One that SBI Bank has known to be equipped with, especially after a perplexed customer posted a tweet on Twitter, citing an incident where he wasn’t allowed to enter the bank, all because he was wearing shorts.
    Β© Twitter
He wrote, β€œHey @TheOfficialSBIΒ  went to one of your branch today wearing shorts, was told that I need to come back wearing full pants as the branch expects customers to "maintain decency" Is there some sort of an official policy on what a customer can wear and cannot wear?.”

And honestly, we don’t know what’s worse, the fact that something like this doesn’t just happen to women but also men, or the fact that it happened at all.
Drawing a reaction from a lot of other users who found this not just to be bizarre but also humiliating and out of line, many people ended up suggesting Twitter User to Ashish to sue the State Bank Of India for such unsolicited fashion policing.
Apparantly, I am not the only one who has faced this

Similar incident reported from Pune https://t.co/vaiXA64gtJ@TheOfficialSBI Can you please point me to a dress code for customers?
    β€” Ashish (@ajzone008) November 18, 2021
Ashish then went on to find and report another instance of a similar kind and posted it on the thread that infuriated people even more. One user wrote, β€œWhere was this? Are they running a School or something?”, while another said, β€œStill a better excuse than 'Lunch Time Ke Baad Aana'!!”
Still a better excuse than 'Lunch Time Ke Baad Aana'!!
β€” Aditya (@myselfadi) November 17, 2021WTF! Where was this? Are they running a School or something?
β€” Machaiah Kalengada (@MachaiahKA) November 17, 2021maybe they were 'short' of cash
β€” Ratobus#GetVaccinated (@Ratobus) November 17, 2021SBI is The Sanskari Bank of India. You should know this.
β€” Arunkumar Ram (@arunkumar_ram) November 18, 2021Although, it seems like SBI finally stepped in to sort the matter, especially after it gained so much traction online, which is when Twitter user Ashish replied on his own thread to close the matter.Β

β€” Ashish (@ajzone008) November 20, 2021 This isn’t the first time someone has tried to fashion police others,Β there have been several similar cases even with airlines that often end up denying customers their seat in the plane if they don’t cover up.
So much for living in a free, progressive country!
