After holding star kid Aryan Khan in custody for 25 days, with relentless media intrusion on the matter, several denied appeals for bail and hours of investigation as well as conspiracy theories hitting the news every single day, on October 28th Shah Rukh Khanβs son was finally granted bail.Β
It was the first breakthrough for the celebrity family since October 3rd which is when Aryan Khan, along with Arbaaz Merchant and model Munmun Dhamecha, was arrested following a raid by NCB on a cruise party in Mumbai.
Β© Twitter
And now it seems like Aryan Khan and his familyΒ have another reason to heave a sigh of relief as Bombay High Court said there is βhardly any positive evidenceβ to show any sign of conspiracy between the accused as alleged by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) earlier.
The order, that is said to be 14 pages long, was made available on Saturday afternoon and clearly mentioned how there was "nothing objectionable found in the WhatsApp chats" to suspect a conspiracy between Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant or Munmun Dhamecha.Β
The court also acknowledged that just the fact that the three were travelling in the same cruise cannot, by itself, be a foundation for the charge of conspiracy against them.Β
Β© Twitter
As far as the confessional statements recorded by the NCB of the three accused is concerned, Bombay High Court called it βnon-bindingβ and dismissed its claim. It observed, βSuch confessional statements are not having any binding effect in law" keeping in mind a 2013 Supreme Court judgment.
The court further observed how the three accused, βwere not even subjected to medical examination so as to determine whether at the relevant time, they had consumed drugs.β
The 14 page-long order also upheld the fact there was indeed an βabsence of material record" to infer any or all three as part of a criminal conspiracy as well as citing that nothing objectionable was found on their phones or their WhatsApp chats.Β
Β© Twitter
It therefore remarked, βThere is hardly any positive evidence on record to convince this Court that all the accused persons with common intention agreed to commit unlawful acts. Rather the investigation carried out till this date suggests that Applicant/Accused nos. 1 & 2 (Aryan and Merchant) were travelling independent of Applicant/Accused no. 3 (Dhamecha) and there was no meeting of minds on the aforesaid issue.β

In his address to nation on Friday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an announcement that even though was being sought after for months by thousands of hopeful farmers, still came as a big surprise and relief to many, including lots of celebrities from the film industry who have welcomed PM Modiβs decision to repeal three farm laws, with open arms and open minds.Β
Farmers that had been protesting against the three farm laws for over a year and were demanding a rollback of the Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, PM Modi addressed the nation as he said, βToday I want to tell everyone that we have decided to repeal all three farm laws."
This is a wonderful news!
Thank you,@narendramodi ji, @PMOIndia, for taking back the farm laws. Thank you, farmers, for raising just demands through peaceful protests. Hope you will happily return to be with your families on the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji today.

Actor Sonu Sood shared a tweet over the good news as he wrote, βThis is a wonderful news! Thank you, @narendramodi ji, @PMOIndia, for taking back the farm laws. Other actors like Taapsee Pannu, Richa Chadha, Urmila Matondkar and even Priyanka Chopra Jonas lauded the decision and tweeted on the matter.Β
Grateful to @narendramodi for repealing the Farm Laws, finally.
I wish we didnβt have to let the impasse last this long, cause so many lives to be lost. And demonise, debase, delegitimise the Farm Protest and the protestors.#Farmlawsrepealed 1/2

Dia Mirza wrote, "Jai Kisaan #GuruPurab," while Gul Panag tweeted, βI wish we didn't have to let the impasse last this long, cause so many lives to be lost. And demonise, debase, delegitimise the Farm Protest and the protestors. #Farmlawsrepealed."
Meanwhile, actress Kangana Ranaut had opposing viewsΒ to Prime Ministerβs decision of repealing the law as she called the move, βSad, shameful and absolutely unfair."
Β© Kangana Ranaut_Instagram
In response to a user, RanautΒ wrote, βIf people on the street have started to make laws and not the chosen government in the parliament then even this is a jihadi nation... Congratulations to all who wanted it like this."Β Guess, while the country witnesses and celebrates certain changes, there will always be some things (and some people) who wonβt change.
